A Great Day of Golf, Giving & Community!

Golf & Leisure Getaways was proud to manage the Central Coast Kids in Need Charity Golf Day on Friday, 21 August at the magnificent Kooindah Waters Golf Club.

🏌️‍♂️ 116 golfers came together for a fantastic day on the course, all with one goal – to raise much-needed funds for Central Coast Kids in Need (CCKIN), an incredible local charity supporting seriously ill children and their families.

Following the golf, the fun continued with great food, live music, presentations, raffles and live & silent auctions – with everyone digging deep for this very worthy cause.

💙 The highlight of the day?...

We are absolutely delighted to present Central Coast Kids in Need with a cheque for $21,000! 🎉👏

A massive thank you to BYD Tuggerah, our major sponsor, along with our hole sponsors, generous prize donors and, of course, all 116 golfers who came along, supported the day and helped make it such a success.

2025 Central Coast Kids in Need Charity Golf Day

The 2nd Central Coast Kids in Need Charity Golf Day was held at Kooindah Waters on Friday 24th October. The event was hosted by Central Coast Charity Golf Events & Golf & Leisure Getaways . On the day, some 116 golfers attended what was again, a fantastic day. Through the generosity of those present and the hard work by Steve and the committee members an astounding $20,000 was raised for Central Coast Kids in Need. 💙 💙 💙
Our wholehearted thank goes to Central Coast Charity Golf Events committee Steve Wylie, Sean Devlin, Matt Haines, major sponsors Gosford Nissan and Central Coast MG & Kooindah Waters Golf and Resort
The funds raised will go to assisting families of seriously ill children and children with disabilities here on the Central Coast.

Vietnam – September 2025

We recently returned from an unforgettable golf trip to Da Nang and Hoi An with a group of 14 keen golfers, and wow – what an experience!
From the very beginning, Steve was amazing to deal with. Super responsive, incredibly accommodating, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Every detail was taken care of, and it made the whole process completely stress-free.
The private transfers were fantastic – always on time, super comfortable, and made getting around a breeze. On the ground in Vietnam, the local support team was next-level. They were always available, friendly, and made everything run like clockwork. It honestly felt like we had VIP treatment the whole way through.
We’re already talking about the next trip – we can’t wait to book again. If you’re thinking about a golf getaway, these guys are the real deal. Highly recommend!

Vietnam – 2025

Morning Steve,
On behalf of our group, I just wanted to reach out to say thank you for organising our tour to Vietnam. It would rate as the best trips that any of us have been involved in. From the truly beautiful golf courses, the uniquely wonderful restaurants you sourced and the amazing sites and local tours we got to participate in, the tour never disappointed.
The local guides were fabulous. Not only did they get us to and from every activity, but their local knowledge was invaluable to the group. From the instant we landed to the moment we checked out they were available to assist at all times.
The tour was truly seamless for the whole 21 days.
As a number of the group mentioned, “tomorrow can’t get any better”…and it always did.
Many thanks and we look forward to our next Golf & Leisure Getaways tour.
