What a FULL day! ๐Ÿค™

Today we explored the islandโ€™s incredible national parks, walked through dramatic volcanic landscapes, drove along the stunning coastline, and finished the day swimming in the beautiful waters of Kona. ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒด

Sadly, no waterfalls this time as a storm is on its way โ€” but that just gives me another reason to come back! ๐Ÿ˜‰

We finished our amazing Hawaiian adventure with a farewell dinner, spectacular food and the most beautiful sunset. ๐ŸŒ…โœจ

I honestly canโ€™t thank Hawaii Tourism, Viva Holidays and Outrigger enough for the incredible opportunity and experience you have given me. โค๏ธ

Day 4 & 5 โ€” Kona Magic ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒŠโ˜•๏ธ

Day 4
We traveled to the Big Island and settled into the beautiful Outrigger Kona. Wowโ€ฆ what a place! ๐ŸŒดโœจ

First up was a delicious lunch poolside, followed by a wonderful cultural tour where we learned about the islandโ€™s rich history and traditions. โค๏ธ

Then it was time for an afternoon swim, relaxing and taking in those breathtaking ocean views. ๐ŸŒŠโ˜€๏ธ

Day 5
Today we headed into the mountains to visit a coffee plantation. โ˜•๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ We toured the plantation and even got to participate in coffee roasting and brewing sessions โ€” such a fun and delicious experience!

We then wandered through the township of Kona and explored the local farmers market. ๐Ÿฅญ๐ŸŒบ

But the highlight of the day was still to comeโ€ฆ

๐ŸŒ™ A nighttime manta ray adventure! ๐ŸŒŠ

The manta ray experience is the #1 tourist attraction on the island, and now I understand why! ๐Ÿฉต

Hereโ€™s how the magic happens:
๐Ÿ’ก Underwater lights illuminate the ocean.
๐Ÿฆ  Tiny plankton gather around the lights.
๐ŸŒŠ Reef manta rays arrive to feed.
โœจ And thenโ€ฆ the magic begins!

Mantas glided through the illuminated water, rolling and somersaulting beneath us as they filtered plankton from the ocean. It truly looked like an underwater ballet. ๐Ÿฉต

The most incredible part? These magnificent animals werenโ€™t performing for us. They were wild manta rays, naturally feeding in their ocean habitat.

The photos of the mantas really donโ€™t do justice to how absolutely amazing it was underwater. What we saw with our own eyes was something completely magical โ€” an experience I will never forget. โœจ๐ŸŒŠ

There really are no words to describe this experience. It was absolutely amazing! ๐Ÿคฉ If you ever have the opportunity to do this, DO IT! You wonโ€™t regret it.

And nowโ€ฆ ๐ŸŒด waterfalls await me tomorrow! ๐Ÿ’ฆ

Today was a full day touring the island, and what a day it was! ๐ŸŒดโ˜€๏ธ

We headed up to the beautiful North Shore, taking in some absolutely stunning coastlines. ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿ First stop โ€“ Dole Pineapple Plantation
We were so lucky to see pineapples being planted and picked today! We also popped into the packing shed before finishing off with a delicious pineapple tasting. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ˜‹

๐Ÿง Then it was time for a stop at a shave ice shop โ€“ the perfect treat on a warm Hawaiian day! ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿง

๐ŸŽฅ Next stop โ€“ Kualoa Ranch, the incredible location where Jurassic Park and many other famous movies have been filmed. The scenery here was absolutely breathtaking! ๐Ÿฆ–๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ”๏ธ

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Dinner was at the famous Cheesecake Factory โ€“ and wow, the meal sizes were HUGE! ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜‚ The cheesecake was absolutely divinehoughโ€ฆ definitely worth saving room for! ๐Ÿฐโค๏ธ

๐ŸŒ… We finished the evening with a lovely walk along Waikiki beach to visit Duke, before heading to bed early for our flight to Kona tomorrow. โœˆ๏ธ๐ŸŒบ
