From 12 October 2025, the EU is rolling out a new Entry/Exit System (EES) for non-EU travelers (yes, Aussies too!).

🛂 On your first trip, you’ll:
📸 Get your photo + fingerprints taken
❓ Answer a few quick questions
✅ Then you're in! Future trips (within 3 years) = just a quick scan.

💡 You don’t need to do anything before you go, and it's free — but border queues might be longer at first.

⏳ Reminder: You can only stay in the Schengen area for 90 days in any 180-day period.
Overstay = possible fines, bans, or being sent home. 😬

Don't say your weren't told, so head on over to the Australian Government website https://www.smartraveller.gov.au/ for the most up to date information, and remember, without an amazing awesome travel agent, your on your own
