With peak travel season approaching, here’s your heads-up: some destinations require an ETA, ESTA or e-visa before you even get to the airport.

🗺️ Here’s the quick rundown for Australian passport holders:
🇺🇸 USA → ESTA required
🇨🇦 Canada → eTA required
🇮🇩 Bali → e-visa must be approved before departure
🇱🇰 Sri Lanka → ETA required (easy to apply online)
🇲🇻 Maldives → IMUGA Travel Declaration required within 96 hours of arrival & departure
🇰🇭 Cambodia → e-visa recommended
🇮🇱 Tel Aviv → entry requirements can change—check ahead
🇹🇭 Thailand → All non-Thai nationals must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)
🇬🇧 UK → As of 8 January 2025, Australians must apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) for short stays
🇪🇺 Europe (Schengen Zone) → No visa required for up to 90 days;
🗓 ETIAS (EU’s new entry system) delayed until late 2025
