Flight prices are increasing this summer. BUT there’s a couple things you can do!!
1. Look for Alternative Nearby Airports to Fly in or out of!
2. Be Flexible dates!!! Start by looking at Flight prices then look for accommodation prices!!
But book the trip- Enjoy the Vacation!!

And to finish our SeaWorld trip- we spent one night at the beautiful ! Gotta love points! We loved the waterpark, lazy river and hot tub! Kennedy even tried her first waterslide where the floor falls out, and LOVED it!! This morning we rushed home for 2 baseball games. What a magical field trip and Friday evening!

Our Field Trip was a Sleepover - we spent the nights on air mattresses in the Beluga enclosure with 31 of our school friends- over 200 of us went on this field trip! The kids loved the Beluga’s & sleeping right by the glass (Cam got the spot) It really was a unique experience. Also we froze 🤣 I am talking 3 layers, blanket over head freezing, but what a cool experience, and the kids got to learn all about Belugas and other SeaWorld animals over the evening and next morning. If you have the opportunity to take an adventure like this do it!

Yes!! It is important enroll in the FREE STEP Program through the www.mytravel.state.gov this program allows the US Embassy to know where your travels take you and alert you of issues going on! It’s totally free to enroll and takes 10-20 mins!

Why St Thomas? The weather is beautiful (think high 80’s) the Ocean is warm, there’s not a lot of large resorts, and so you don’t have that busy, hustle and bustle of the resort crowd! The beach we love does get busy when cruise ships are in, in the afternoon- BUT it’s not that crazy over stimulated busy. It truly feels like there no rush and it’s just time to relax. There’s great snorkeling, day trips to St John or fishing charters- you can do nothing or a lot!! Then of course that VIEW!!! We truly love our family getaways on St Thomas!

Why are these the pictures I take? 1. After a relaxing vacation or work trip - I will 100% forget where I park, so I take a picture text to myself and my husband and no more forgetting! 2. I take a picture of my passport (the inside page of course) and email it to my emergency contacts, and myself, if you ever lose your passport abroad it’s easier if you have the details handy! 3. Luggage! If an airline loses your luggage they can ask what it looks like- way easier to show them a picture especially if you traveling with unusual luggage. One time an airline lost my softball bag and I was trying to explain it to them- but it didn’t match their diagrams and they were lost!

One of my favorite places in the Caribbean is ARUBA! The Beautiful Dutch island in the Southern Caribbean has beautiful beaches, a National Park that is fun to explore via jeep, a beautiful golf course over looking the Caribbean, casinos, AMAZING restaurants with incredible sunsets, and is such a beautiful place to enjoy as a couple or with kids! Direct flights from Florida, and a fun island to explore on your own!
