Today we remember Lena, Cathy’s beloved mum, who passed away peacefully.

One of Lena’s fondest memories was visiting Sicily, the homeland of her parents and a place that always held a special place in her heart. She often spoke of it as the best holiday she ever had – exploring beautiful beaches, bustling local markets, charming historic towns, and the incredible Roman ruins that tell the story of Sicily’s rich past.

Our thoughts are with Cathy and her family as they celebrate a life well lived and the treasured memories Lena leaves behind.

As airlines make updates to their published schedules for Melbourne, our Middle East Travel Information Hub provides a snapshot of current services, upcoming frequency increases and airline contact details.

This includes Emirates now flying double daily to Dubai, Qatar Airways increasing flights to daily from today, Etihad flying four times a week, and Virgin Australia flights to Doha returning from 15 June.
