We have some very EXCITING news! This December 5-15th, we are hosting our very first “Christmas in Italy” Trip.

Highlighting the best Christmas markets, light displays and Christmas festivities across Northern Umbria and Tuscany. This is of course combined with amazing food,wine, shopping, spa and custom experiences.

We have a small, fun, small group of women who are returning to Verde Italia for their second trip. We could possibly make room for one more traveller so if this is something that interests you please DM!

Can’t white to enjoy Christmas in this spectacular part of the world. 🎄

Journey through Umbria - Day 10

Well I think this was one of our most fabulous days, what a way to end the trip.

Firstly we had our magnificent truffle hunt in the woods at Vineria del Carmine . Our expert hunter Claudio with dog Rio helped us search for the delicious black truffles. We then enjoyed the chef’s truffle lunch using our fresh finds!

And in the afternoon, we treated the guests to a session at The Nun Spa Museum in Assisi including a massage each.

During restoration works of an ancient monastery, archaeologists discovered remarkably preserved Roman remains dating from the 2nd century BC and 1st century AD, including limestone pillars, walls, and structures linked to an ancient sacred water temple and amphitheatre. It was deluxe!

Travelling is not always glamorous. It’s long haul flights, sometimes a hard bed with crappy pillow, heavy suitcases, late trains, miscommunications and more!

I am always so grateful as the positives always outweigh the negatives but I also want to point out that life is not always as perfect as in the pictures!
