Before l went on this tour, when asked where my next holiday would be and l said South Africa, the response was, why would you want to go there or is it safe (is it safe anywhere these days).
Most responses were negative. They never scared me or made me regret my choice, if anything it made me feel sorry for those people for being so ignorant and taking too much notice of all the negative things they have read in the papers or seen on the news.
You will never take the opportunity to see our world if you have a negative mindset.
Of course taking that first step to venture out of your own country is daunting, once you do and you find that wasn't so bad, l gaurantee you will be bitten by the travel bug and what an awesome feeling that is.
So far what l have seen on my tour of South Africa has been wonderful, l love the culture,scenery and of course the animals.
Although l am on a tour, l feel very safe, you do learn to be travel savvy. The shopping centers are very nice, great shops, toilets are so clean, better than some of ours and the people are friendly.
You need to visit South Africa for yourself and experience what we are experiencing.
You will not regret it.
