We are absolutely thrilled to announce that APPI Ghost Hunts & Tours is returning to Old Parramatta Gaol.

Our September events are now on sale, and we cannot wait to get back inside those walls with you.

Quick response to all the questions we have received regarding the sudden closure of Old Parramatta Gaol. Too many of our historic sites are becoming inaccessible and it’s too sad for words. Please join us in praying to any god, goddess, deity, elemental, spirit, cosmic force, ancient being or other entity you happen to have on speed dial that this is just a short pit stop in the road. 🙏😂

No belief system will be turned away. We are covering ALL bases.

IMPORTANT UPDATE – OLD PARRAMATTA GAOL

Unfortunately, we have some disappointing news regarding our ghost hunts at Old Parramatta Gaol this weekend.

We have been advised by site management that SafeWork NSW has temporarily closed Old Parramatta Gaol, meaning the site cannot currently be used in any capacity.

Sadly, this means we have no choice but to cancel our ghost hunts scheduled for this weekend.

We have now contacted all attendees booked for this weekend individually and issued full refunds. If you were booked to attend, please check your email (including your junk/spam folder) for our message. Depending on your bank or payment provider, your refund may take a few business days to appear in your account.

What about our September events?

At this stage, our September events remain active and have NOT been cancelled.

However, until we have confirmation that the site has been cleared for use, we have made the decision to temporarily stop ticket sales for all upcoming Old Parramatta Gaol events.

We don’t want to speculate about what may happen with those dates until we have further information. Should any September events need to be cancelled, we will contact every affected attendee directly in due course and provide further information regarding their booking.

We know how disappointing this situation is. We’re disappointed too, particularly as it is completely outside APPI’s control, but we want to be as transparent as possible with everyone about exactly what is happening.

Old Parramatta Gaol is an incredibly special place to us and has been a huge part of APPI for many years. We sincerely hope this is only a temporary interruption and that we’ll be back inside those gates very soon.

Last night we welcomed our guests on a cold, crisp evening to the Old Parramatta Gaol, and what an active night it turned out to be!

During a session in 4 Wing doing the Estes Method experiment, a response “look to the centre” came through. At almost the same moment, several guests reported seeing a small, child-sized figure near the Guards’ Room. When asked who they were seeing, the response was simply: “kid.” 😱

We also received some remarkably consistent responses in 3 Wing, including two separate groups asking whether spirits could see or interact with other spirits from different timelines. One guest also reported seeing shadow figures on the level above.

One of the highlights was when a whole group of guests and APPI team members saw an apparition resembling a doctor or nurse in a coat appear on screen in the Ganzfeld experiment, while the person undergoing the vigil reacted at the same time. There were also numerous visual anomalies, unexplained noises and reports of being touched or pushed.

It was an electrifying night with plenty of personal experiences and unexplained moments. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us!
