Business travellers are getting specific about what they need from hotels, and the data shows exactly where priorities lie.

Our latest survey of our travel managers reveals:
📍 83% rank convenient location as the top booking factor for corporate travellers
🍳 Free breakfast influences 72% of decisions
🏙️ 44% now actively seek apartment-style features like kitchenettes and extra space.

At the same time, 55% still value full-service hotels with business amenities, dining variety and wellness facilities.

The pattern is clear: quick overnight trips call for different features than week-long projects. A hotel three blocks from your meeting with good workspace and included breakfast often wins over a five-star property across town.

Hotels winning bookings in 2026 are the ones delivering the right features for how people actually work and travel today.
