🎓 Welcome home to our Ivy League travellers!

Our group returned over the weekend, and if you're wondering why this post is a little late... we've been too busy hearing all the stories, swapping travel highlights and listening to everyone's favourite moments from the journey!

This tour was absolutely jam packed. From exploring world-renowned universities and iconic cities to experiencing life on some of America's most prestigious campuses, it was a fast-paced adventure that kept everyone on the go from start to finish.

The feedback from our teachers says it all. They described it as "the best tour ever." Their words, not ours!

To our amazing students, we hope you're enjoying a well-earned rest after an unforgettable experience. We know the memories, friendships and inspiration from this journey will stay with you for a long time to come.

A huge thank you to the teachers who travelled with the group. Your support, guidance and enthusiasm made this experience possible, and we're so grateful for everything you did along the way.

And what better way to finish an incredible tour than arriving home just in time for the school holidays? 😊

🇵🇦 And we're back!

Our Panama travellers landed home in chilly Melbourne this morning, bringing with them incredible memories, new friendships, and experiences they'll never forget.

If you've been wondering why our social media has been a little quiet, it's because we were completely immersed in the adventure. From community immersion and cultural experiences to sharing meals, learning from locals, and embracing every opportunity, there simply wasn't much time to post. Sometimes the best moments are the ones you're fully present for.

Over the coming days we'll be sharing some of our favourite highlights from the tour, so keep an eye out.

For now though... we need some sleep! We may not have followed our own advice about getting plenty of rest on the flight home, and let's just say there were probably a few too many movies involved. 😴✈️

A huge thank you to the amazing teachers who travelled with us. Your support, encouragement and calm guidance made all the difference, especially when things didn't quite go to plan. We know your students are incredibly grateful for everything you did to make this journey such a memorable one.

🍔🌭🍕🍩 The food really is next level!

Yes, we're on an Ivy League tour. Yes, we've loved exploring some of the world's most prestigious universities (don't worry... that post is coming soon! 😉🎓). But one of the best parts of travelling is experiencing a destination through its food.

From towering burgers and loaded fries 🍟 to authentic New York pizza 🍕, lobster rolls 🦞, BBQ, sweet treats 🍪 and everything in between... our taste buds have been just as busy as our feet!

Food tells a story about a place, its people and its culture. It's something to be shared, talked about and, of course, enjoyed. 😋

Safe to say... nobody is going home hungry! 🇺🇸❤️

What a day in Boston! ☀️

With perfect weather on our side, we packed plenty into the day and experienced some of the city's most iconic sights.

We started with a guided walk along the Freedom Trail, where Jeremiah brought history to life as we explored landmarks including the Granary Burying Ground, the Old State House and the USS Constitution, which first launched in Boston in 1797.

After working up an appetite, Quincy Market was the perfect lunch stop. For some students, there was only one choice on the menu: a famous hot butter lobster roll, and the reviews were very positive! 🦞

The afternoon brought a completely different perspective of the city aboard a Boston Duck Tour. Travelling through the streets before splashing into the water, everyone enjoyed seeing Boston from both land and harbour. A definite highlight was having the chance to take the wheel and steer the vehicle ourselves.

We finished the day with plenty of energy and entertainment at Fire + Ice, where dinner became part of the show.

Days like these remind us that learning extends far beyond the classroom. History, culture, teamwork and plenty of fun all rolled into one unforgettable experience.

🇵🇦 Our first post from Panama!

What better way to dive into a new culture than through its food?

Our day began by picking up our chef, Paulette, and her incredible parrot, who quickly became an honorary member of the group and stayed with us for the entire adventure.

Our first stop was the San Felipe Neri Public Market, a bustling marketplace that has been feeding Panama City for generations and remains one of the city's most important hubs for fresh local produce. Wandering through the stalls, we discovered fruits, vegetables and ingredients we had never seen before, from different varieties of chillies to plantains and an impressive selection of beans.

Next came a market with a much stronger aroma, Mercado de Mariscos, Panama City's famous fish market. Here we picked up the fresh seafood needed for one of Panama's most iconic dishes, ceviche.

With ingredients in hand, we headed back to En La Fonda restaurant (with its Diablo Rojo out the front), tied on our aprons and got straight to work. Under Paulette's guidance, we learned how to make:
🥔 Patacones
🥟 Carimañolas
🐟 Ceviche
🍅 Pico de gallo

These experiences are about so much more than cooking. They help students connect with local people, understand cultural traditions, and build confidence by stepping outside their comfort zones.

And before you ask... why are there no photos of the cooking class or our delicious creations?

We were far too busy chopping, learning, cooking and eating! 😅

You'll just have to Google the dishes and imagine how good they tasted.

✈️ After a busy few months behind the scenes preparing students, supporting schools and getting everything ready for departure, it's exciting to see our groups heading overseas again.

The departure gate is only the beginning... 🌎

This weekend, two groups took off from Melbourne, beginning journeys that will challenge, inspire and create memories that last long after they return home.

We're keeping the destinations under wraps for now, but here are two clues:

🌴 Destination 1: Home to one of the world's most important waterways, connecting two oceans.
🏛️ Destination 2: A journey through historic cities, renowned universities and places where world leaders and generations of students have helped shape the future.

Any guesses where our students are headed?

Welcome home, basketball crew 🇦🇺🏀✈️

After a huge journey back from LAX, we’re sure you’re feeling the travel, but also buzzing with stories, photos, and memories from an unforgettable USA tour.

From high-level training and tournament battles to NBA games and iconic experiences, you embraced every moment. More importantly, you return home with new skills, fresh insights, and a deeper understanding of how to grow both individually and as a team.

We couldn’t be prouder of what you achieved.

Thank you for travelling with us. We feel incredibly honoured to have been part of your journey.

Now it’s time to rest, recover, and relive it all 🙌

Wheels up ✈️🇺🇸➡️🇦🇺

Our basketball crew are on their way home, currently somewhere over the Pacific and crossing the international date line… so Tuesday doesn’t really exist for them 😄

After an incredible tournament, the group had some well-earned downtime in LA, although “downtime” might not be the right word:

• Casual hoops at Venice Beach 🏀
• Lakers vs Warriors, the final NBA game of the season (Go Lakers!) 💜💛
• A full day at Universal Studios 🎢

A pretty amazing way to finish what has been a whirlwind tour.

There will no doubt be plenty of sleep on the flight home, along with a lifetime of memories.

A huge congratulations to the team and Coach Jamie on everything you achieved, and a big thank you to the support crew who made it all possible.

We hope you had an absolute ball (had to 😄)
