Pregnancy is such a strange season.

One minute you’re watching your body do the most incredible thing it will ever do, and the next you’re standing in front of the mirror wondering where you went.

The oversized tees become the uniform.
The comfort clothes become the safe place.
And somewhere between appointments, school runs, work, nesting, swollen ankles and growing a whole human… you stop seeing yourself.

Not because you’ve disappeared.

But because you’re changing.

And change can feel uncomfortable before it feels beautiful.

This is why I love maternity photography so much.

Not because of the dresses.
Not because of the location.
Not because of the photos.

Because for a moment, you get to see yourself the way everyone else already does.

Strong.
Soft.
Powerful.
Radiant.

The woman creating life.

If you’re 25 weeks pregnant right now, living in oversized tees and forgetting just how incredible you are… this could be your shoot next month.

And years from now, when that tiny baby is running through your house, you’ll have these photographs as proof of where your story began.

Friends 💛

Today I’m asking our beautiful community to come together for a little boy who is facing a battle no child should ever have to face.

Zeki has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer. While most kids his age are busy playing, exploring, and making memories, Zeki is facing treatments, surgeries, and a long road to recovery.

His family’s world has been turned upside down, and right now they need all the love, support, and kindness they can get.

If you can donate, no matter how big or small, it will make a difference. If donating isn’t possible right now, simply sharing this fundraiser could help it reach someone who can.

As a small thank you for supporting this cause, I have donated a family photography session to be won by one of the generous people who contribute. But this isn’t about me or my business, it’s about helping lighten the load for a family who are carrying more than anyone should have to.

Let’s show Zeki and his family what community looks like. Let’s remind them they’re not walking this road alone.

I am no longer charging “arms and legs” my work pays my bills, and my skill is worth real money.

I am not mentoring new photographers out of kindness alone. 15 years in this industry carries weight, and education is an investment, not an entitlement.

I am no longer bending my system to suit urgency. 6 week edits are gone every gallery is delivered within 2 weeks, consistently.

I am no longer accepting Pinterest boards of other photographers’ work. I’ve spent 15 years building my own style — I will not recreate someone else’s. If you love my work, trust it.

I will not be pressured or argued with by clients who are committed to misunderstanding me. I know my art, my process, and my rights.

I no longer downplay what I do to make people comfortable with my pricing or process.

I am no longer disappearing behind the scenes I document almost every session now, and it has elevated the entire client experience.

I am no longer available for anything that dilutes the standard I’ve spent 15 years building.

The kind of gallery that stops you mid-search for a tracking number for something you purchased, because you instantly know that email is the email 🥹✨ tracking your parcel can wait!!!

Mum and dad curled up together scrolling through every image of their beautiful girl, completely obsessed, emotional, laughing, soaking in every tiny detail of these newborn days that already pass too fast.

Those first days with your baby are such a blur when you’re living them… and then suddenly they’re frozen forever in photographs you can hold onto for the rest of your life 🤍
