On our last full day at the Gold Coast we visited Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. The lovely couple were a bit tired to do too much walking so we settled for train rides to the major events. We got up close and personal with the free flight birds and fed the wild lorikeets. They even sat on Mark and Patsy’s heads. So cute.

Ongoing frivolity on Mark and Patsy’s holiday on the Gold Coast~~. A beautiful, peaceful boat ride in the river with Capt Mark and Capt Patsy, followed by lunch on the waterfront and another game of darts- TWO more bullseyes from Mark. Then John, Patsy’s brother, met us out for the Outback Spectacular. It did not disappoint!! Great riders and story line and these two cut the rug again before the show even started.

Fun times at Movie World!! Check out these posers! They loved meeting the characters and getting their photos taken. The shows were great and the weather was fantastic!

I missed posting a couple of days at the beginning of our trip so here’s a quick catch up. Mark and Patsy’s sweet digs, goofing off in town, the aqua duck ride, night markets in Surfers Paradise, meet ups with family, a trip to the Crystal Castle and cutting a rug in Ballina RSL with Patsy’s brother John (thanks for a lovely day out John). That was just day 1 and 2!

We had another fun day here on the Gold Coast! A game with Mark the darts and bullseye champion, lunch in town, then dinner and a cabaret show at Dracula’s with these two little devils 😈😝😝
