Bratač, nestled on the Nevesinje plateau, is a treasure trove of historical wonders. Ancient Roman ruins, a medieval bridge called Ovčiji brod, and the awe-inspiring Zalomka sinkhole, a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina, all stand as testaments to the region’s rich past. The Ovčiji brod, a testament to Ottoman rule, is believed to have even existed during the Roman Empire, as evidenced by the Roman road that leads to it.
