Bangladesh to build exclusive tourist zone:

Bangladesh will build an 1165-acre exclusive zone for tourists in Teknaf with hotels, nightclubs, and park and convention hall. The government has given the go-ahead to two public-private partnership (PPP) projects in Cox’s Bazar for development of tourism sector. The cabinet committee on the economic affairs in a meeting approved the project proposals put forward by the civil aviation and tourism ministry.
Under one project, an exclusive tourist zone will be developed in Sabrang area under Teknaf Upazila. The 1165-acre exclusive tourist zone will have hotels, cottages, beach villas, nightclubs, a convention hall and an amusement park. The government has already given permission to the ministry to use 135 acres of land in the beach for the project. An international-standard tourism complex will be established in place of Motel Upal, owned by Bangladesh Tourism Corporation, under the second project. Watchtowers, shopping malls, food courts, cineplexes and swimming pools will be developed on 5.76-acre land.
The meeting also approved, in principle, a proposal to build a shopping mall-cum-guesthouse on an ‘unused’ piece of land owned by Bangladesh Railway in Khulna under PPP arrangements.

Nil Giri is the highest hill resort of Bangladesh with amazing natural beauty. This Resort is located 47 km South-East of Bandarban town on Chimbuk Range at a height of 2400 feet from sea level. It has a high class residential accommodation that makes a difference. This beautiful resort in the top of the mountain maintain by the Bangladesh Army. You will be amazed when you see that the cloudy sky often kisses the peak of the hill. Gentle breeze was blowing down the hill side and thin clouds were hanging around on their way to casual fly. Dimmed through the clouds, silver moon light was rolling down the folds and slopes. It is Imagine the scene! Clouds are playing with you and you can touch them! Jaflong is a natural tourist spot in the Division of Sylhet, Bangladesh. It is located in Gowainghat Upazila of Sylhet District and situated at the border between Bangladesh and the Indian state of Meghalaya. It is just below the mountain range. Jafflong, famous for its beauty, boulders, betel nuts and is home of the Khasi tribe. It’s about 60 km to the northeast of Sylhet town and takes two hours drive to reach there. Jaflong is also a scenic spot nearby amidst tea gardens and rate beauty of rolling stones from hills.
