Meet Nicara Adderley : Assistant Director of DMC Planning ✨

Q: You’re famously organised. What’s your secret?
A: Lists, lists and more lists! I like knowing what’s happening, what’s next and what could possibly change—because in this business, something always does.

Q: What do you love most about DMC planning?
A: Taking an idea and watching it become a real experience. There are so many details behind the scenes, so seeing guests arrive, enjoy themselves and have no idea how much went into it is incredibly rewarding.

Q: You’re also one of the bubbliest people in the office. How do you keep that energy when things get hectic?
A: I genuinely enjoy what I do and I love working with people. A positive attitude goes a long way—and there’s usually something to laugh about, even on the crazy days!

Q: What’s your favourite part of working with clients?
A: Getting to know them. Every group is different, and I love understanding what they’re looking for and then finding ways to make their time in The Bahamas feel really special.

Q: As someone who loves to travel, what does travelling teach you about creating experiences for other people?
A: It reminds me that it’s often the little things you remember most—the people you meet, the unexpected moments and how a place makes you feel. I try to bring that thinking into every programme we create.

Q: Off the clock, what does your perfect day look like?
A: Family time, definitely. Add good food, plenty of laughs and maybe a trip somewhere new, and I’m very happy.
