A truly well-rounded Okavango Delta experience awaits at A&K Sanctuary’s Baines’ Lodge and Stanley’s Camp, both set within a private concession.

This weekend, Seth had the chance to experience both properties. While each offers its own distinct style—Baines’ Lodge as the newly rebuilt, more intimate retreat, and Stanley’s Camp as the classic, family-friendly sister camp—they share the same incredible location and access to unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Game viewing exceeded all expectations, with multiple big cat sightings and a particularly active hyena den in addition to general game. As winter approaches and the migratory birds begin their journey onward, the resident species ensure exceptional birding year-round.

Guests can enjoy a range of immersive activities, including day and night game drives, mokoro excursions (traditional dug-out canoes), guided walks, and motor boating (at Baines’).
