CLIENT VACATION REVIEW

Riu Flamingos (formerly Riu Jalisco)
Riviera Nayarit, Mexico

King Room- Large, clean, nice patio.
Downside no door on bathroom so if sharing a room bring command strips and a shower curtain for privacy. The toilet had a door.
They don't restock your mini bar unless you ask.
There is a sign that says water is not potable in the bathroom so make sure to get bottled. It's free just have to ask

Food- The food was good. No complaints. Never shortages never a wait at the buffet.
We ate at all the a la carte except the Asian. The steakhouse was amazing the steak and salmon were incredibly we went twice.
The taco bar down by the beach was good and open all day but to get drinks there was always a long wait.

Drinks- The drink got old real quick. All the juices and sodas are sugar free so that sucked as I cant have artificial sugar.
Moka coffee bar was amazing every morning.
The sportsbar was open 24/7 and they let us stream the Oilers games. The staff in there were always great.

Customer Service- The customer service was good in most spots sometimes it took a long time to get drinks at the pool bars.

Beach- The beach was nice but no shade. You can rent an umbrella for $18/ day

Is there anything at this resort you'd recommend for future guests?
Bring an umbrella. Learn Spanish the staff don't know any English. Sometimes needed to use Google translate.
There are not enough daily activities that are in English so most Canadians did not participate. The resort is saturated with locals.

Mckenna was absolutely incredible to work with. Her customer service is top-notch, always responding quickly and ensuring every detail was handled with care. She made the entire experience smooth and stress-free, and it truly shows how much pride she takes in her work.

Earlier this month I had the opportunity to attend a dinner, presentation, and marketplace event all about the Mexican Caribbean! It was fantastic to learn more about the different regions of the Mexican Caribbean and what makes each destination unique for travellers. From beautiful beaches and cultural experiences to adventure and luxury escapes, every area has something special to offer.
