Three regions. One sweet Island tradition ☕️

The Hot Chocolate Trail is back for 2026 and this year, we’re excited to announce that it’s presented in partnership by PEI’s three Coastal Drives: Central Coastal Drive, North Cape Coastal Drive and Points East Coastal Drive.

Together, we’re bringing you another Island-wide season of creative hot chocolates, local businesses and plenty of reasons to explore PEI this November and December.

Registration is now open to businesses looking to join us this year. For details or to sign-up, email [email protected] by Thursday, September 17.

This week, we’re getting to know Smita Prakash, the heart behind The Little Maison Bistro!🇫🇷🌊

From her favourite spot along the North Rustico Boardwalk to the inspiration behind her French-inspired coastal crêperie, Smita shares what makes Little Maison and the Central Coastal region so special.

At Little Maison, French-inspired crêpes and croffles come together with the flavours of PEI and a touch of Smita’s Indian heritage. Using local ingredients, fresh in-house fillings and sauces, and a menu that evolves with the seasons, every dish has a story behind it.

Her favourite? The Island Spiced Potato crêpe, which brings together Island potatoes with flavours inspired by home.

The 30th Annual PEI International Shellfish Festival returns to Charlottetown from September 17th–20th, marking three decades of one of PEI’s most celebrated food events.

Over the past 30 years, the festival has become a must-attend event, bringing together PEI’s incredible shellfish, talented chefs, local producers, exciting culinary competitions, live entertainment, and the warm hospitality the Island is known for.

This year’s milestone celebration will feature four days of delicious food, lively competitions, live music, and plenty of chances to recognize the people, products, and industry that have helped put PEI shellfish on the map.
