Buenos días from Riu Palace Costa Mujeres! ☀️🌴🇲🇽

Yesterday, we changed resorts, did a little touring... and then conducted some very important research at the adults-only pool bar. 🍹😂

There are definitely differences between this resort and the Majestic Mirage we visited, but there is also a difference in the price tag. 💰 One vacation style—and one budget—definitely does not fit everyone!

So far, the food has been excellent, there are 4 pools, and plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.

This resort also shares a waterpark, sports bar and nightclub with the neighbouring Riu Dunamar, giving guests even more options during their stay. 🎢🍻🎶

Today is our last day! As much as I have enjoyed this little work-cation, I am definitely starting to miss my family... and, let's be honest, my own bed! 😂❤️🛏️

Over the next week, I'll be sharing reviews, comparisons and deals for each of the resorts we explored.

Yesterday was a spicy one! 🥵🔥 The temperature felt like it was around 45°C with the humidity, so coming back to our swim-up suite in the late afternoon was absolutely lovely! 💦🌴

Today, however, I am officially off duty! 😎

It’s my co-worker Sarah's birthday… 25 x 2! 🎂😂 And she wanted to start her birthday the right way—with a trip to the spa! 🧖‍♀️

We’ll be testing out the hydrotherapy treatment, followed by:

🏖️ Lunch at the beach
🍹 Drinks in the pool
🫧 A foam party (why not? 😂)
🔥 And dinner at the Japanese restaurant for Hibachi—her birthday request!

Stay tuned for my resort reviews! We inspected some great options yesterday, but today… I’m taking the day off! 😉

Good morning from my upgraded swim-up suite at Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres! ☀️🌴

Yesterday was a long day of travel, but we made it! ✈️ And honestly, waking up to this view and having the pool just steps from my room is not a bad way to start the day! 😍

Today, I’m up, refreshed, and ready to start our work day in paradise! 😂🌴

We have 5 resorts on the agenda today:

It’s going to be a busy day, but someone has to do the hard work! 😉☀️

Today's important travel debate with my co-worker...

Are you old school 📄 paper boarding pass or new school 📱 digital boarding pass?

We had ZERO luggage to check, yet somehow we still walked right up to the counter to get a paper boarding pass.

Why, you ask?

Because apparently, travelling with my co-worker means we are keeping the paper boarding pass industry alive. 😂

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I even thought about getting a paper boarding pass unless I had luggage to check.

But hey... some people just aren't ready to let technology win. 😏😂

Since my husband couldn’t make the trip, I’m dragging my co-worker along instead... even though she gets to spend a milestone birthday with me! 🎂🍹😂 Lucky her, right?!

I’ll be checking out a destination I’ve never been to before—and while we're there, we will be touring 6 different resorts! 🏨👀

Last night kicked things off with an Air Canada Vacations event, catching up with familiar faces and meeting some new ones. And let me tell you… there are some exciting new destinations coming for both winter AND summer! 👀✈️

Another repeat client has secured her winter getaway! ☀️🌴

This couple absolutely loves Cuba, but unfortunately, since last year, Cuba is no longer an option for them. Last year they gave the Bahamas a try, and this year they’re heading to Mexico to test out the beaches! 🇲🇽

They’ll be soaking up the sun at Sandos Cancún, an adults-only 18+ resort. 🏝️

Cuba will always hold a special place in their hearts, but I’m excited to see what they think of Mexico!
