Update July 19

Currently we have sprinkler systems set up by our staff at 4 outposts. At this time we have not lost any cabins.

🔥 Grayson lake - Thanks to the rain we received a couple days ago, the fire now appears to be out.

🔥 Wabakimi Lake - The fire is mostly out, although a few hotspots have flared up again with today’s heat.

🔥 Siess Lake and Wapikaimaski Lake - The fire is currently burning between these 2 lakes. Most of the fire is out, but there are still several hot spots that have reignited due to the heat.

We remain confident that the sprinkler systems we’ve installed at our 4 outposts will continue to protect the cabins from harm. We’re hopeful that the rain forecast for tonight will extinguish the remaining hotspots.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by these wildfires. ❤️

The past few days have been truly life-changing. We’ve experienced so many ups and downs, but through it all, we are incredibly grateful for our staff.

They have gone above and beyond—helping evacuate those in need, working countless hours, and doing everything they can to protect our camps. Words can’t express how thankful we are for their dedication, strength, and selflessness.

While the days have felt long and the road ahead is still uncertain, messages of support like this remind us why we keep going.

To our incredible employees: thank you. We couldn’t do this without you. ❤️

“Hi. I believe that you may be the pilot who saved my SON, my brother, my nephew, my dad, my cousin, and a few very close friends of mine yesterday in Ontario. They were at Kenoji Lake. If this was you, I want to tell you how grateful that our family is. You are an absolute hero. There are no words to express how courageous you are and how indebted I feel to you. When everyone else had given up, or so it seemed to us, you became an angel to us. You saved 8 precious lives and also saved so many other people's lives from conplete heartache and tragedy , and never being the same again. I prayed for an Angel and you were sent. THANK YOU for being a stellar human. I have never loved someone that I didn't know, until now. I wish you everything great in life, Sir. “
