πŸ¦‰ Bird Friday by Wyatt!! πŸ¦…

This week’s feathered friend is the Ovenbird! 🐦 Larger and chunkier than the average warbler, this little bird is often spotted with its tail cocked upward and its bright white eye ring gives it a permanently surprised expression! πŸ‘€

Unlike many birds that nest in trees, Ovenbirds build their homes right on the forest floor. Using dead leaves, grasses, bark, stems, and hair, they carefully weave a domed nest with a hidden side entrance. Its rounded shape resembles a small clay oven β€” inspiring the name β€œOvenbird”! πŸ‚πŸͺΊ
