Meet Dillon — Skican Host 🎿

A lifelong ski bum, Dillon has spent the past 18 years sharing his passion for the mountains through a wide range of roles in the ski industry. From his early days at Camp Fortune to working as a ski tech and bootfitter, to coaching freestyle skiing, he brings a wealth of experience to his current role as one of our Europe-focused Experience Managers. Through it all, Dillon’s goal has remained the same: helping people fall in love with the sport.

His recipe for the perfect day?
- a great morning coffee
- Deep morning turns
- A delicious mountain lunch
- An afternoon of carving up ripper groomers
- Swapping stories at après-ski

Meet Elsa — Skican host🎿

Heading into her third season hosting with Skican, Elsa loves experiencing every part of the destinations she visits — the skiing, meeting new people, mountain culture, incredible food, and unforgettable moments shared along the way!

You’ll find Elsa skiing all kinds of terrain in the Alps, exploring everything from the Vallée Blanche in Chamonix to the Dolomites and spectacular Swiss glaciers while sharing her passion for the mountains with the guests she hosts each season.

When she’s back home in Montreal, she’s usually enjoying the local hills in the Laurentians or catching up over coffee with Skican clients and friends alike.

Meet Jack — Skican host 🎿

If there’s deep powder, good people, and a mountain to explore, Jack’s in his element. After spending the past few winters hosting trips throughout Japan, he’s developed a real love for the culture, snow, and slower pace of mountain life there.

More than anything, Jack is the kind of host who genuinely cares about the people he travels with. He always goes the extra mile to make sure guests feel welcomed, looked after, and fully immersed in the experience — from helping you find hidden local spots to making every ski day feel memorable both on and off the mountain.

When he’s not snowboarding, you’ll usually find him trail running, cycling, or hanging out with his Huskies.

Thank you for the early mornings, the extra layers to keep us warm, the packed lunches, ski hill drives, and for carrying our skis when we got too tired to carry them ourselves.

From first chairlift rides to family ski trips and unforgettable days in the mountains, so many of our favourite memories started with moments like these.
