🏔️ HAKUBA: The Adventurer's Pick
You want long runs, challenging steeps and a Japan that feels like Japan. Hakuba sits in the Japanese Alps, with taller peaks than Hokkaido and 10 resorts in one valley. Shuttles take you between them, and a few are connected, so you can ski 2 resorts in 1 day. It's traditional, it's close to Nagano to meet the famous snow monkeys, and it's full of Olympic history!🐒

❄️ NISEKO: The Powder Seeker's Pick
For those of you who live for deep days, backcountry options, and rather clip into your skis right outside your door. Niseko is 4 resorts on one volcano, and you can ski between them all. It gets a little more snow than Hakuba too (about 15m vs 14m 👀). When the lifts close, you've got an international crowd and easy access to dining, shopping and nightlife. 🍜
