Bonjour à tous,

Je me nomme Yannik. Et en tant que praticienne/trainer ACE, je voudrais rendre hommage à une femme que j'admire qui nous a quittés subitement en décembre dernier, Sarah Fisher (61 ans).

Je suis encore dévastée, mais extrêmement reconnaissante d'avoir eu la chance de bénéficier de son enseignement à travers les différents cours en zoom et de la rencontrer à Tilley Farm (un site enchanteur où la bienveillance règne).

Sarah a été instructeur TTouch et a ensuite créé ACE (Animal Centred Education). Elle avait cette capacité d'observation incroyable qu'elle mettait à profit en modulant son interaction avec les animaux. En plus de l'importance de l'observation et du travail libre ACE, elle m'a appris à ralentir, à écouter, à m'adapter à chacun des animaux que je côtoie et à me questionner "moi" et non à remettre en question l'animal. Comme elle aimait bien le dire : "dogs only have the choices we give them".

Ces notions me sont utiles pour mon travail à la SPCALL mais Sarah m'a également appuyée à exploiter ces concepts avec mes chats qui ont été mes tuteurs pendant mes différents modules ACE.

Sarah n'était pas seulement d'une bienveillance exceptionnelle avec les animaux, mais également avec nous. Elle avait cette façon de nous faire sentir unique, appréciée et avait toujours les bons mots ou un gros câlin pour nous accueillir ou nous réconforter.
Merci pour tout Sarah. Tu vivras dans chacun de mes gestes posés avec mes petits poilus.
