Annual staff party, West Coast style. 🍻🌊

We had the best time taking the crew from mcdonald_marine up to Refuge Cove Store&fuel - B.C for their annual staff party. We rafted up in the Copelands on the way, enjoyed some seriously delicious food at Refuge Dockside Kitchen , wandered through the store, and soaked up those West Coast views.
And because we can’t just go home without throwing a line in… we squeezed in a little fishing on the way back 🎣
Great people, great food, great views, and a pretty damn good way to celebrate another year together.

Beautiful evening on the water, salmon on the lines, whales feeding near by, crabs in the pots, and a Beartooth cooler full of fresh local seafood to take home and cook before they head back across the pond.

We’ve had guests join us from across the USA, and now Europe — pretty damn cool that people are travelling this far to spend a day on the water with us. 🥹

After putting some beautiful fish in the boat, we wrapped up the trip with a swim in the warm, clear waters off Savary Island before cruising back to Beach Gardens Resort & Marina

Yesterday’s Beartooth Coastal Queens Clinic reminded us exactly why we love these days so much.

🎣 We lost some gear, found some gear, shared plenty of laughs, and our Coho derby entry missed the winning fish by just half a pound!

More than the fish, it’s watching confidence grow, friendships form, and seeing women get out on the water together that makes these clinics so special.
