🚗 Yesterday we took the car out to the towns of Ragusa and Noto and spent the day wondering the streets. It was a blistering 38° in town ☀️. Too hot! So today we pivoted- found a Beach Club to swim, and enjoy some R & R. 🌴

Our first 24 hours in Sicily. After flying into Catania, we rented a car and drove an hour to nearby Syracusa where we are staying a few nights. It is just a few blocks from the tiny island of Ortigia- the historical heart of Syracusa. Connected to mainland Sicily by two bridges, it’s the perfect mix of old-world charm, seaside views, little cafés, lively piazzas and that unmistakable Sicilian vibe. 💙
