The number one resort in Southeast Asia, according to Travel + Leisure, is ten villas on a Philippine surf island most travellers can't find on a map. Allow us to introduce you.

Nay Palad Hideaway is all-inclusive in a way that makes other all-inclusives look like they're holding back. Condé Nast Traveller just added it to its Gold List, and Michelin gave it a Key. Every massage on the spa menu, every island-hopping boat, every surf lesson near the famous Cloud 9 break is included before you even think to ask.

The setting matches the service. Ten villas between an ancient mangrove forest and a private white-sand bay, wrapped in sculptural woven architecture, with hanging nest pods in the palms and an infinity pool facing the Pacific.

Ten villas, one island. Reach out, and we'll get you one of them.

Did you know one of Africa's greatest safaris happens almost entirely on water?

Eagle Island Lodge, a Belmond property, occupies a private island deep in the Okavango Delta, one of the most remarkable ecosystems on Earth: a desert that floods every year into a maze of channels, lagoons, and islands teeming with wildlife.

The safari itself is unlike anywhere else in Africa. Gliding through the reeds in a mokoro, the traditional dugout canoe. Boat safaris through papyrus channels. And the lodge's signature: helicopter flights over the Delta with the doors off, which clients consistently call the highlight of their entire trip.

Water, wildlife, and almost no one else around. Reach out to start planning.

Already done Rio? Checked off the beaches? Here's the Brazil we save for round two.

Rosewood São Paulo anchors Cidade Matarazzo, a restored century-old hospital complex reborn as the city's most exciting cultural district. The hotel pairs the original 1904 building with a new tower designed by Jean Nouvel, wrapped in greenery and rising like a vertical garden, with interiors by Philippe Starck and more than 450 works by Brazilian artists throughout.

The details deliver too: a rooftop pool with skyline views, some of the best restaurants and bars in the city under one roof, and a location minutes from Avenida Paulista and São Paulo's museum row.

Most international flights to Brazil route through São Paulo anyway. Two or three nights here at the start turns a layover city into a highlight, especially for food lovers. This is Latin America's culinary capital. Message us to start planning!

A Nile cruise might be the best hotel in Egypt. And it moves.

Historia Boutique Nile River Cruise sails between Luxor and Aswan, designed around the glamour of 1920s river travel with a fully contemporary interior. Around 40 cabins, floor-to-ceiling windows facing the water, a rooftop pool deck, and a spa on board.

The real luxury is the format. You unpack once, and the temples come to you. Karnak and the Valley of the Kings, then Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Philae, each visited with expert Egyptologist guides while the boat handles every mile in between.

Mon Ark's tip: itineraries run three, four, or seven nights, and the direction you sail changes the pacing. We’ll help you pick the right one. Let’s start planning.

Lake Como is beautiful. It's also busier than it's ever been. Five lakes we love that still feel like a discovery:

- Lake Garda, Italy: the biggest of the Italian lakes, with lemon groves, medieval towns like Sirmione, and a livelier energy than its famous neighbour.
- Lake Lugano, Switzerland: Italian soul, Swiss polish. Palm trees on the promenade, mountains rising straight out of the water, and Milan just an hour away.
- Lake Lucerne, Switzerland: steamboats, mountain railways, and Belle Époque hotels along the shore.
- Lake Bled, Slovenia: the fairytale one, complete with an island church and a clifftop castle.
- Lake Bohinj, Slovenia: Bled's wilder sibling just 30 minutes away, ringed by the Julian Alps and blissfully free of crowds.

Every one of these pairs beautifully with a bigger itinerary. Tell us which caught your eye and we'll build around it.

Wrote off Punta Cana as all mega-resorts and swim-up bars? We did too, once. Then there’s this place.

Eden Roc Cap Cana, a Relais & Châteaux property inside the gated Cap Cana community, is built around freestanding suites, most with their own private pool, spread through tropical gardens a short ride from a swimmable, white-sand beach club.

Golfers, take note: Punta Espada, the Jack Nicklaus signature course with eight holes along the Caribbean, is minutes away and consistently ranked the best course in the region.

The practical part matters too. Punta Cana’s airport has nonstop flights from most major U.S. cities, so you can be at the pool by early afternoon.

Big Caribbean ease, boutique Caribbean feel. Message us to start planning.

Ever wanted to sleep inside a city’s history? In Seville, you can. This hotel was commissioned by a king.

Hotel Alfonso XIII was built at the direction of its namesake, King Alfonso XIII, to host royalty and dignitaries for Seville’s 1929 Exposition. Nearly a century later, it’s still the address in the city. Mudéjar arches, hand-painted tiles, a grand central courtyard, and a location steps from the Cathedral and the Real Alcázar.

What we love most is that it never stops feeling like Seville. Orange trees in the courtyard, Andalusian design in every corridor, and tapas and sherry at the bar that feel right at home in this city.

Mon Ark's tip: visit the Alcázar first thing in the morning, then be back at the pool before the afternoon heat.

In the age of AI photos and viral fakes, here's a list you can actually trust: UNESCO World Heritage sites. And fun fact, you've probably been planning trips around them without realising it.

The World Heritage list is humanity's official greatest hits collection, over 1,200 real, vetted, irreplaceable places. Once you start noticing, they're behind half the travel photos you've ever saved: the 9,000-alleyway medina of Fez in Morocco, Mont-Saint-Michel rising from its tidal bay in France, the rolling hills of Tuscany's Val d'Orcia, Gaudí's Sagrada Família in Barcelona, and the lantern-lit old town of Hoi An in Vietnam.

Here's the advisor angle: places this famous need strategy. The right season, private after-hours access, the guide who knows the back entrance. Message us to plan your own greatest hits tour.

"Which Greek island should we pick?" is a trick question. There are over 200 inhabited islands, and the right one depends entirely on who's asking. (And no, the answer isn't automatically Santorini or Mykonos.) Four we keep matching clients with:

Paros: for the traveller who wants the classic Cyclades, but livable. Whitewashed villages and great beaches, plus real ferry connections, a walkable main town, and prices that haven't gone Santorini yet.

Milos: for the geology nerd who doesn't know it yet. The island is volcanic, so its 70-plus beaches come in white moonscape rock, gold sand, and silver cliffs, many reachable only by boat.

Crete: for the traveller who gets bored on beach trips. Minoan palaces, mountain villages, a food culture Greeks themselves rave about, and resorts big enough to swallow a full week.

Corfu: for the one who wants Greece to look different. This is the green island, Venetian architecture instead of white cubes, cypress hillsides, and a run of new five-star openings.

Island-hopping between them is where trips get complicated: ferries, flight connections, and hotels that sell out by spring. Tell us which island sounds like you, and we'll start planning.

Anniversaries, birthdays, honeymoons. Esperanza in Los Cabos is where we send clients when the trip needs to feel special.

The setting does half the celebrating for you. The resort tops the bluffs of Punta Ballena, with private coves below and the Sea of Cortez out front. In winter, whales breach right offshore, and yes, clients have watched them from their own terrace, coffee in hand. Try beating that as an anniversary morning.

The team is exceptional at the behind-the-scenes choreography. Planning a proposal, a surprise vow renewal, or a milestone birthday? Tell us the occasion and they'll run with it, right down to the rose petals you swore were too cheesy until you saw them.
