Today I’m thinking about women across generations.

My first role model was my mother. She immigrated to Canada with my dad and two small children, leaving behind everything familiar to build a better life for our family. It took courage, resilience, and a kind of selflessness you only fully understand as you get older.

I think about the women of her generation often — the ones who changed workplaces, opened doors, raised families, and held communities together.

And now I look at my daughter.
A different generation entirely. A business owner, a mother of two, and someone who understands something many women before her weren’t taught — that keeping your own cup full matters too.

Four generations of women, each strong in their own way. Each building on what came before.

Grateful for the women who paved the way, and inspired by the ones continuing the journey.
