Let’s GLOW!

What an honor to be part of this hardworking team that has earned the Earmarked Gold designation with Disney Destinations for our agency, Glow With Me Adventures! We are now a Disney Authorized agency, and Disney has invited our entire agency to Walt Disney World for team training to help us serve our clients even better with the most up-to-date information and recommendations.

As I was watching the Disney Magic’s inaugural docking at the Port of Vancouver this morning, it got me thinking about some of my favourite Disney memories. There are many, but the one that might be my favorite is watching the Disney Wonder come into port as my family slept. We had a harbour view room at the Pan Pacific in Vancouver and I got up early to watch her come in. The excitement this built was palpable- I was beside myself with joy that I got to have this moment with my complete family. We had done Walt Disney World before but that was before my youngest was born. Our first Disney cruise and my youngest’s first Disney experience was a Disney Alaska cruise. It was a total “Glow With Me Adventure”!

This summer, my youngest and I are returning to Vancouver to cruise the Disney Magic! His Dad and (much older) brother will be staying home to work while we get to, once again, experience the majesty of the Alaskan landscape. It is not lost on me how lucky my family and I are to do be able to do these trips. Lucky, but also intentional. We save for our trips, we prioritize them. They are our mental health breaks, our happy place, our place of reconnection with each other.

Just popping in to remind everyone that while you could spend 47 hours stress-googling Disney and Universal plans… you also know me. 😌
