On Saturday, October 3rd Destination Vancouver gifted a hammock made out of the same goal net that Nestory Irankunda scored his goal in the 27th minute against Turkiye during the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Vancouver.

The hammock was presented to the Football Australia during their game against South Korea in Australia.

It’s a reminder that the Australian team (and especially Nestory!), their fans, and the people of Australia are always welcome to ‘Recouver in Vancouver’
