O επιχειρηματικός κόσμος της Λεμεσού αποχαιρετά τον Ντίμη Μαυρόπουλο.

Με βαθιά θλίψη, η Εταιρεία Τουριστικής Ανάπτυξης και Προβολής Περιφέρειας Λεμεσού (ΕΤΑΠ) και το Εμπορικό και Βιομηχανικό Επιμελητήριο Λεμεσού (ΕΒΕΛ) αποχαιρετούν τον Ντίμη Μαυρόπουλο, έναν άνθρωπο που συνέδεσε τη ζωή και τη δράση του με τη Λεμεσό και άφησε το δικό του ξεχωριστό αποτύπωμα στην πόλη.

Ο Ντίμης Μαυρόπουλος υπήρξε για σειρά ετων ενεργό μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της ΕΤΑΠ Λεμεσού και ΕΒΕΛ συμβάλλοντας με την εμπειρία, τις γνώσεις και την αγάπη του για τη Λεμεσό στις προσπάθειες για την ανάπτυξη της πολης.

Η πορεία του υπήρξε πολυσχιδής. Δραστηριοποιήθηκε επί σειρά ετών στον επιχειρηματικό κόσμο, ενώ το όνομά του ταυτίστηκε με τον μηχανοκίνητο αθλητισμό, όπου αναδείχθηκε σε μία από τις σημαντικότερες μορφές του κυπριακού Ράλι. Η μεγάλη του αγάπη για το αυτοκίνητο αποτυπώθηκε και μέσα από τη δημιουργία του Κυπριακού Μουσείου Ιστορικού και Κλασικού Αυτοκινήτου στη Λεμεσό, αφήνοντας μια σημαντική παρακαταθήκη για τις επόμενες γενιές.

Πάνω απ’ όλα, όμως, ο Ντίμης ήταν ένας άνθρωπος άρρηκτα συνδεδεμένος με τη Λεμεσό. Ένας δραστήριος Λεμεσιανός, με έντονη παρουσία στα κοινά και ιδιαίτερη αγάπη για την πόλη του.

Η ΕΤΑΠ Λεμεσού και το ΕΒΕ Λεμεσού εκφράζουν τα ειλικρινή και θερμά τους συλλυπητήρια προς την οικογένεια και τους οικείους του.
