An Important Collaboration to Highlight Limassol’s Cultural Heritage!

The Limassol Tourism Board is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence, aiming to digitally showcase the archaeological site of Kourion.

This initiative, supported by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, will utilise advanced technologies, including 3D documentation, digital reconstruction, and artificial intelligence, to develop innovative digital content highlighting two of Kourion’s most significant monuments: the Ancient Theatre and the Stadium.

Through this project, visitors will have the opportunity to explore these monuments as they once stood in antiquity and discover scenes from their past, including athletic competitions held at the ancient Stadium.

The Limassol Tourism Board remains committed to supporting innovative initiatives that bring together culture, technology, and tourism, contributing to the enhancement and enrichment of the region’s tourism offering.

Με μεγάλη επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκε το 1ο Φεστιβάλ Γαστρονομίας και Πολιτισμού «ΓΕΥΣΕΙΣ ΠΟΥ ΕΝΩΝΟΥΝ» του Δήμου Αμαθούντας

Με μεγάλη προσέλευση κόσμου και σε ένα ιδιαίτερα ζωντανό και εορταστικό κλίμα πραγματοποιήθηκε την Κυριακή, 11 Οκτωβρίου 2026, το 1ο Φεστιβάλ Γαστρονομίας και Πολιτισμού «ΓΕΥΣΕΙΣ ΠΟΥ ΕΝΩΝΟΥΝ», στην Πλατεία Ειρήνης, στον Άγιο Αθανάσιο, με θέμα «Από τον Όλυμπο στον Δήμο Αμαθούντας».

Το Φεστιβάλ, που διοργανώθηκε από τον Δήμο Αμαθούντας με τη στήριξη της ΕΤΑΠ Λεμεσού και του Υφυπουργείου Τουρισμού, αποτέλεσε μια ξεχωριστή συνάντηση γαστρονομίας, παράδοσης και πολιτισμού, αναδεικνύοντας τους δεσμούς που ενώνουν τις δύο περιοχές.

Το κοινό είχε την ευκαιρία να απολαύσει μια πλούσια ποικιλία παραδοσιακών εδεσμάτων και γλυκών, τοπικών γεύσεων από τον Όλυμπο. Οι χορευτικές παραστάσεις, η μουσική και το πλούσιο ψυχαγωγικό πρόγραμμα κράτησαν αμείωτο το ενδιαφέρον των παρευρισκομένων, προσφέροντας μια ξεχωριστή εμπειρία γεμάτη γεύσεις, παράδοση και διασκέδαση.

Ξεχωριστή θέση στο πρόγραμμα είχε η συμμετοχή της ομάδας «Μαγειρεύοντας με την Κλειώ», η οποία παρουσίασε παραδοσιακές συνταγές και γεύσεις, συμβάλλοντας στην ανάδειξη της γαστρονομικής ταυτότητας της περιοχής.

Η ΕΤΑΠ Λεμεσού ευχαριστεί τον Δήμο Αμαθούντας για τη διοργάνωση και όλους όσοι συνέβαλαν στην επιτυχία του Φεστιβάλ, το οποίο ανέδειξε τον πλούτο της γαστρονομικής και πολιτιστικής παράδοσης των δύο περιοχών.
