Swim in the sea by the rocks known as Petra tou Romiou, where she was believed to have risen from the waves, make a pilgrimage to her sanctuary at Kouklia, or visit the grotto near Polis where she was supposed to have bathed.

🇨🇾🇬🇷 28th October – “Ohi Day” (Όχι Day)

Today, we commemorate one of the most defining moments in modern Greek history. On 28 October 1940, Greece bravely said “Ohi” (“No”) to the Axis powers’ ultimatum, marking the country’s courageous entry into World War II.
This national day of pride and remembrance is celebrated in both Greece and Cyprus with parades, flag displays, and community tributes.

📍 In the Pafos region, a commemorative parade will take place at 11:00 AM on Griva Digeni Avenue, bringing together students, cultural groups, and local organisations in honour of this historic occasion.
Let us remember the courage, dignity, and unity of those who stood for freedom and sovereignty.
