A brief look at our private Jewish heritage tours across Poland - and the stories that make them different.

One of our most favourite tours is The Schindler’s List: Truth and Fiction. Why? Because it allows us to tell stories — stories of Schindler’s Jews who became the prototypes for the film’s characters, such as Leopold Pfefferberg, known as Poldek in the film, and Nusia Horowitz, the only Schindler Jew still living in Kraków.
The tour also allows us to explore the multilayered history of Kraków: Jewish history, the history of the Second World War, and the post-war period. It also allows us to show Kraków as it appears in the film, what the city looked like during the war through wartime photographs and video footage, and how it looks today. We’ve recently launched the Jewish Lublin Tour. What is the tour about? It lets you discover the story of one of Poland’s most important centres of Jewish life. For centuries, Lublin attracted Jewish merchants, scholars, and rabbis from across Europe. Their legacy transformed the city into a renowned centre of Jewish learning.
