July was even better than June! 🌍✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined our Kreuzberg Public History Walks this month and made July our best month so far.

One month in, and what a start it has been!

Public History Walks has completed its first month with success, and we would like to thank all our participants for joining us and for the wonderful reviews they have shared.

It has been a pleasure meeting visitors from different countries, backgrounds, and generations, and exploring the history, culture, and everyday life of Kreuzberg together.

First day, first tour — and what a start.

Thank you to everyone who joined today and made it such a great experience. Kreuzberg’s stories of workers, migration, and alternative culture came to life through our walk, and I’m really excited for what’s ahead.

They’re finally here.

After a lot of work, edits, and back-and-forth, my Kreuzberg tour booklets are ready.

What started as notes and research is now something tangible — a small guide with timeline, info, and images that bring history to life and unfold the layers of this neighborhood:
from medieval trade routes to industrial Berlin,
from division and the Wall to squats, punk, migration — and everything in between.

Looking forward to putting them to use on the tours.
