It’s funny looking back at these photos because this trip changed so much for me.

Back in 2017, I booked my first big international trip and headed to Bali, Indonesia. These are also the only photos I could find from it 😂

I wish I could tell you I had every detail planned… but I definitely didn’t. 😅 I did almost no planning, booked the trip, and figured the rest out as I went.

Looking back, there are so many things I would do differently now (travel advisor me is definitely cringing a little), but I wouldn’t change the experience for anything.

That trip gave me confidence, introduced me to a completely different culture, and sparked a love of travel that has completely shaped where life has taken me.

TANZANIA PARK HIGHLIGHT | Tarangire National Park

If I had to pick one park that completely surprised me on safari, it would be Tarangire National Park. 🐘🌿

Often overshadowed by the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire quickly became one of my favourite parks in Tanzania.

When I visited in March, the landscape was lush and green, and we were surrounded by massive elephant herds.

Tarangire is famous for:
🐘 One of the highest concentrations of elephants in Tanzania
🌳 Ancient baobab trees that can be thousands of years old
🦁 Lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, and more than 500 bird species
🌿 A quieter, less crowded safari experience that feels incredibly wild and authentic

Every park in northern Tanzania has its own personality, and Tarangire’s is all about elephants. If seeing these incredible animals in their natural habitat is on your bucket list, this park absolutely deserves a spot on your itinerary.
