Sometimes, the best part of traveling isn't the famous landmarks, it’s the quiet moments in between.
Look closely at this hidden, sun-dappled courtyard where our guide, Eyal (on the left in, paused with our wonderful guests yesterday. Just a few steps away, the bustling streets of Barcelona were humming, but inside this ancient stone oasis, time completely stood still.
In just two hours together, they stepped away from the crowds and into the intimate, untold daily lives of El Call. No rush, no textbook lectures, just a meaningful conversation about the families who once walked these exact paths, and the subtle heritage they left behind.
It’s amazing how a brief stroll can completely change the way you look at a city.
When you travel, do you prefer checking off the big sights, or finding those secret corners where you can just stop and take it all in?
