Our dogs absolutely LOVE getting out of their kennels, stretching their legs, sniffing all the smells and enjoying some precious time away from refuge life. 🐶❤️

⏰ From 9am until 12:30pm OR until it becomes too hot.
Once walking finishes, we are closed to the public.

🚫 CLOSED: Mondays, Fridays & Sundays.

💛 No appointment necessary — simply come along!
👟 Enclosed footwear is advisable as our walking routes have gravel paths.

Every walk means so much to our dogs. It gives them exercise, stimulation, human interaction and, most importantly, a little break from kennel life. 🥰

You might even meet a four-legged friend who completely steals your heart… 🐾🏡❤️

🐾💙 MEET FAUST — HE’S NEVER KNOWN WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO HAVE A HOME 💙🐾

Faust came to Live PAWS from another refuge, where he had spent most of his life after arriving there as just a puppy. 💔

Refuge life is all Faust has ever known.

He’s never had his own sofa, his own cosy bed or a family to come home to. He simply hasn’t had the opportunity to experience the everyday things that most dogs take for granted.

When Faust arrived with us, he hadn’t had much chance to socialise or discover the world outside the refuge. Understandably, trusting people didn’t come naturally to him.

But slowly, things are changing. ❤️

With kindness, patience and gentle encouragement, Faust is beginning to understand that humans can be good and that he is safe.

And underneath that uncertainty, we’re discovering the sweetest, gentlest boy. 🥹

🐾 He walks beautifully on the lead
🤍 He has a wonderfully gentle nature
🌱 His confidence is growing little by little
🐶 Another friendly, confident dog could really help him
❤️ He has SO much potential

On our dog-walking days, Faust is an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Watching him explore beyond the refuge and discover new things makes us realise just how much more life has to offer him.

Faust doesn’t need someone who expects an instant transformation.

He needs someone who will give him time.

Someone patient enough to celebrate every little step. Someone who understands that earning his trust will make the bond they eventually share even more special. ❤️

A friendly canine companion could help show Faust the way, but with the right patient and understanding person, we also believe he could flourish on his own.

He’s spent enough of his life looking at the world from inside a refuge.

It’s time Faust finally discovered what HOME feels like. 🏡🐾❤️
