🇧🇦🇭🇷🇸🇮 Prijedor ➡️ Ljubljana 05.06.26
The final ride of what has been an incredible week on the road!
After a comfortable night at the ever-reliable Le Pont Motel in Prijedor, Bosnia, we fired up the bikes for one last day of adventure. Crossing through Croatia and into Slovenia, the miles rolled by with stunning scenery, great roads, and plenty of memories from an unforgettable tour.
What a journey. What a week. Until the next adventure! 🏍️
Arriving back at the Four Points Hotel in Ljubljana for our final stop, reflecting on a fantastic week of riding, laughter, new friendships, and some of the best roads the Balkans have to offer, but not before a stop at the incredible Željava Air Base on the Croatian/Bosnian border.
Built deep inside a mountain during the Cold War, Željava was once one of Europe's largest underground military airbases, designed to protect fighter jets from nuclear attack. Today, its abandoned runways and vast tunnel network stand as a haunting reminder of a different era.
A fascinating piece of history and the perfect final stop before completing another unforgettable Balkan adventure.

📍 Sarajevo ➡️ Prijedor | Thursday 04.06.2026
Last nights overnight stop in Sarajevo was at the beautiful Pino Nature Hotel, perched high in the hills overlooking one of Europe's most fascinating cities. https://www.pino-hotel.com/
From there, a cable car ride takes you down into the bustling streets below, where old and new, East and West, seem to collide at every turn.
Unfortunately, the weather had other ideas. Just as one group arrived back at the hotel, the heavens opened and we experienced our first proper Balkan rainstorm of the trip. The second group weren't quite so fortunate and arrived absolutely drenched! 🌧️😂
Thankfully, hot showers, warm food and a few cold beers soon had everyone smiling again, sharing stories from another unforgettable day on the road.
An early start today though as we have a 09.00 appointment to visit Titos Secret Bunker in Konjic, hidden deep inside a mountains. Tito's Secret Bunker remained one of Yugoslavia's best-kept secrets for decades. Built during the Cold War at enormous expense, the vast underground complex was designed to protect President Josip Broz Tito and up to 350 of the country's political and military elite in the event of a nuclear attack. Complete with living quarters, communication centres, meeting rooms and its own independent infrastructure, the bunker is a fascinating time capsule that offers a unique glimpse into the tensions, secrecy and engineering ambition of the Cold War era.
Once again, the riding is simply outstanding in Bosnia with miles and miles of twisting roads, dramatic mountain scenery, deep valleys and endless views made every mile worthwhile. Bosnia and Herzegovina continues to surprise us with just how spectacular it is. We love riding here.
Tonights stop is an old favourite of ours Motel Le Pont not too far from the border crossing with Croatia and 1 last push back to Slovenia.

Montenegro to Bosnia 03.06.2026.
Leaving Montenegro early this morning and heading into Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the road already promising another incredible day of riding.
Montenegro never disappoints. The countryside is pure riding heaven – dramatic limestone mountains, sweeping valleys, and endless stretches of twisting, flowing roads carved through some of the most underrated scenery in Europe. Every bend seems to open up another view that makes you want to pull over just to take it all in.
Our base near Nikšić was the perfect stopover. A laid-back town surrounded by rugged landscapes, known for its mix of industrial history and local character, it has a real authentic Balkan feel without the tourist crowds. Great roads in and out, and a brilliant launching point for exploring the wider region.
We stayed at Hotel Onogost, which was in the middle of refurbishment during our visit, but that didn’t matter one bit. The newly finished rooms were spot on – clean, comfortable, and we received a genuinely warm welcome that made us feel right at home.
From incredible mountain roads to unbeatable value (and yes… ridiculously good food prices), Montenegro continues to impress every time. An unforgettable ride, and we’re already looking forward to what Bosnia has in store next.
The monument commemorates the Battle of Sutjeska, one of the most significant battles fought by Yugoslav Partisans against Axis forces during World War II. Designed by Serbian sculptor Miodrag Živković and unveiled in 1971, the 2 huge concrete wings symbolize a breakthrough and freedom. It is one of the most iconic examples of the striking futuristic Yugoslav "Spomenik" memorials that have become popular photography and motorcycle-tour stops throughout the Balkans.I

We passed visited the Monument to the Battle of Sutjeska on route to Sarajevo, a fantastic stop for riders. The road through Sutjeska National Park is stunning, with dense forests, mountains, and sweeping bends leading up to the monument. The location feels every bit as dramatic as the memorial itself. A few of our riders found the strength for the hike up to the monument itself.
It is located in Sutjeska National Park near the village of Tjentište.

Dubrovnik to Montenegro.02.06.27
AWESOME RIDING. 🏍️
Another long day on the road, but the kind that reminds you why you started in the first place. Every mile felt earned — from the sweeping Croatian coastline to the dramatic climb over the wild, rugged mountains of Montenegro.
And then came the moment that steals the show: the unforgettable beauty of Kotor. Nestled along the breathtakingly beautiful Bay of Kotor — often called Europe’s southernmost fjord — this UNESCO-listed gem is all winding medieval streets, stone walls, and views that genuinely stop you in your tracks.
The day wrapped up in Nikšić, where the food was generous, the prices were kind, and the welcome felt real. Maybe not the dramatic finale Kotor delivers, but sometimes it’s those simple, grounded moments that stay with you just as much.

Leaving Starigrad and heading for Dubrovnik—what a ride! 🏍️

Another long day on the road, but every mile was absolutely worth it. From those breathtaking coastal views to the stunning Croatian countryside and mountains… this is the kind of journey motorcyclists dream about.

Rolling into Dubrovnik tired but completely fulfilled, with that unbeatable sense of achievement and a huge smile on my face. And wow—this city truly lives up to its iconic reputation.

Wrapped up the day with a perfect evening at a beachfront hotel in Lapad, followed by an easy bus ride into the Old Town for a magical night exploring its charm.

Days like this are why we ride. 💙

A mix of familiar faces and a few CMT first-timers… welcome to the madness!

We kicked things off from Four Points and hit road toward our trusty stop at Hotel Vicko. Big first day in the saddle — 390km carving through southern Slovenia, dropping down into Senj, then cruising that unreal Adriatic coastal road all the way to Starigrad 🌊

Now it’s time to recharge — showers, sea dips for some, and well-earned beers and food all round 🍻

Next stop… Dubrovnik 😎
