C’est décidé, on file prendre de la hauteur à Puycelsi ! 😍

Perchée sur son promontoire au cœur de la forêt de Grésigne, cette cité médiévale nous fait voyager dans le temps. ⌛️ On se balade dans ses ruelles pavées, sous le charme de son architecture authentique (elle n’est pas classée Plus Beaux Villages de France pour rien !).

Notre reco 👉 pour préserver ce joyau et ne prendre aucun risque, on admire la vue depuis les remparts… sans y grimper !

I love this medieval town and market! It is about an hour from our house in the Aveyron department. It's nice to stay after to have lunch too.

We visit the stunning medieval town of Villefranche-de-Rouergue, Aveyron. Vibrant, colourful, historic , local life and produce is celebrated in style.

This splendid 12th century fortress called "Château de Najac" is a great place to visit while you are on vacay in Calmont.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and also is plopped right on the edge of "One of the Most
Beautiful Villages in France," that being Najac.

Château de Coupiac. I adore this château in our department. The town that surrounds the castle has a night market with live music and dancing
in July and August one night per week. Delicious, fresh and sizzling food, wine and desserts
are served. Sometimes, they even have a play that goes on "after dark" inside the castle with
the actors from the village. It is so cool! There are also costumes to wear for free, when one
comes to tour the castle.

Most of our clients that come to Maison Calmont go and see the magnificent castle while they
are renting with us. It is an 11th century fortress, that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
