Incredible AV1 completed, perfect weather all the way through 🌞 It's a tough trek, because it just keeps going.

I noticed my legs looked for the easiest path at the end, just so I can take it easy and cruise, listening to the laughter and conversation, while sorting through my videos and photos.

I started this season with some trepidation: can I stay positive and enjoy the moments outdoors. I didn't need to fear, there's been joy and giggles, like when taking the video 4 and we realised that behind the baby donkeys, the other ones were hu***ng away 😂

Photo 6 Torre Venezia, on Civetta. I have spent so many quiet evenings contemplating it's grandeur that one day I hope to return to climb it.

Other things to note: cute cats, great food, some new itineraries, a new hut and also a sauna on a few of the nights ➡️ happy me!!

Journey through the Dolomites, like no other!!

Last year I imagined and planned this Alta Via 2 no-ferratas trek. I was lucky to get the support of .tracks With them I got to lead a lovely group of people on this hike this August. Thank you 🙏

Great hiking, lots of laughter, rain, sun and Saharan sand. Rocky scrambling, hiking on balcony trails, forests, arid plateaus and scree running.

You should check them out!! There's nothing more impactful that you can do for the environment than vote (green) and make some noise because politicians need to know we care.

And then, you can put some money into the most impactful charities, based on research and outcomes.

I am ready for the working season to start now. I got to pull on those granite crack jams so hard my knuckles are still swollen!! Steep mountains, cold wind and bright sun will prevail hopefully all summer for me, but I now change climbing to hiking... And sharing the messages to the 100ish humans who I get to hike with this summer, with .tracks !

Hiking in the Apennines, the spine of Italy, in the Gran Sasso national park. It's an amazing mountain range with a lot longer season than the Alps and amazing people who love their territory.

Lucked out with stunning sunny weather so our fun sporty group has really enjoyed hiking these varied trails.

My recce trip here on gravel bikes was at least as fun, four days of pedaling and camping in these views!

Trekking from coast to coast, summiting 1300m mountain from the sea. Varied nature, views and terrain.

A stunning 5 days on the Ligurian Alta Via, with the highlights of the Finale Ligure trails. Fuelled by lots of laughter, great new friends, amazing food and the exciting mountain weather.

Where better end the hike than on the hot sandy beaches of the Mediterranean. Wouldn't you fancy a swim after 75km and 4050m vertical ascent?!

We saw virtually nobody on the trails, such a contrast to the tourist hot spots of Italy. I feel super lucky to call this place home. Sharing it with my trekking clients just adds to my joy! Can't wait to next autumn when I'll lead this hike again.

Great views, spectacular trekking, tiring to the body and good for the soul.

The food is amazing. All local ingredients, Mediterranean diet with much more variety than in the higher Alps.
