Our visit to the Lace school in PENICHE today has been fabulous. We have met very experienced lacemakers making lace on round pillows and with the bobbins in the air. Everyone was so welcoming and it was a real pleasure meeting everyone. A big thank you to the lace school and also to the tourist office, who helped us to make the visit possible. Obrigada!

Lacemaking in Lisbon.
This week, we are working with Carole Smith at the .atelier with Ariane. 10 fabulous students and one of our guest comes from Anchorage in Alaska. How cool is that? Carole is working very hard to teach 5 of our ladies how to make lace as they are beginners.

A very special first for Creative Experiences!
This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Rob Jones of Romor Designs for his very first retreat with us, surrounded by the beautiful Perthshire countryside at Murrayshall Country Estate.

Over three days of stitching, our guests explored the fascinating world of Japanese embroidery, learning Moyozashi Sashiko, Kugurizashi Sashiko and Kogin embroidery with Rob.
