JiveTime End of Year Newsletter
Hi,
On 7 April 1993, what began as a simple hobby with our first jive workshop, grew into a lifelong passion of producing all sorts of dance events, including the first ever jive weekend on 29 October 1993, which grew into colossal events never seen before in our community, with attendances at Camber Sands and Bognor Regis of over 1700 and 1200 dancers respectively. Since September 2014, we've been organising dance holidays to Italy in Rome, Tuscany, Venice (Chioggia), Sicily and Sardinia.
Over these 32 years, we've become the UK's longest established independent modern jive organisation not affiliated to Ceroc or LeRoc. We operate freely, introducing new ideas and events in our dance community, providing dancers with unique dance holidays and dance event experiences. Throughout this time, we’ve had the privilege of bringing people together through many events, combining music, dance and community to create something truly special.
This journey has been filled with joy, laughter and countless unforgettable moments. We are deeply grateful to every dancer, organiser, musician, instructor, DJ, volunteer and supporter who has shared the dance floor with us and helped shape JiveTime into what it is today.
As we close another incredible year, we send warm wishes to you all. May the season and the New Year bring you joy, connection and happiness. Here’s to the dance that brings us joy, to the music that moves us, to the people who inspire us and to many more years of dancing together.

With love and gratitude,
