When walking over to feed the ponies this morning I felt very guilty walking on the carpet of seapinks on the shore! Tried to avoid squashing too many!
After a bit of a grey day the sun has come out this evening!

We have a few dates available in Feb and March 2027 if anyone fancies a wee break in Arisaig?! Minimum of 3 nights...£180 per night. We can sleep 6 but have a couples discount for use of 1 bedroom and ensuite and all other facilities including hot tub! Please email [email protected] if you fancy it!

🏴‍☠️ One week to go until our pirate themed Gala Day! 🏴‍☠️

🕚 Kicking off at 11am on Mallaig Pier, we can't wait to see you there in your finest pirate costumes! No parrots required, but they are highly encouraged.

🍔 We'll have a cracking BBQ on the go as well as a pirate punch at the rum shack. There's plenty of activities for the kids and a prizes galore for those who take on the treasure hunt!

🌊 It's your chance to get up close with the lifeboat and help raise vital funds for saving lives at sea.

Wasn't quite expecting this when I opened our bedroom blind yesterday morning! Got the fright of my life because my sleepy brain saw the body first and panicked...how did Rona ( our brown Shetland pony at Eshaness) get out the field?!!

Busy day on the Croft today! Changeover at Eshaness, getting a new blind fitted to the highest window, Duncan on grass cutting and Scottie ( who quietly helps out so much with the ponies...very grateful!) on branch clearing! Elroy and Rona out for a walk and Lunna and Dottie allowed onto the grass for a wee while with grazing masks to slow down their intake of yummy, sugary grass which in large amounts brings on their laminitis! Back to washed hay tomorrow for them and if all ok will get a burst of grass again!!🙂

A lovely wee spot to chill out in at Dalnabreck near Acharacle....well worth a visit if you enjoy a sauna!
