Q. Having experienced your first luxury cruise ship, how did Grandeur compare to a more traditional cruise ship?
A. Grandeur offered a more private, refined experience than traditional cruise ships, with exceptional personalised service, spacious surroundings, and a calm, friendly atmosphere. Dining felt like a top-tier onshore restaurant, enhanced by stunning details like curated art and a Fabergé egg. Rather than crowds and thrills, Grandeur focused on quality, comfort, and thoughtful touches really focusing on that 1:1 experience.
Q. How did the smaller, more refined scale of Grandeur compare to the larger ships you’ve visited in the past?
A. Seven Seas Grandeur felt like a private club at sea – intimate, spacious, and luxuriously detailed. From curated art and champagne welcomes to exceptional dining across venues like Prime 7 and Pacific Rim, every experience was thoughtfully crafted. Service was flawless, with staff going above and beyond to create a truly personalised journey.
Q. Regent’s culinary reputation is a favourite among our clients – what were your impressions of the on board dining, did it live up to the expectations?
A. It was truly exceptional, with choices to suit every taste. The menus in Prime 7 put clever twists on classic dishes - a real highlight was the Regent Signature Chocolate Cheesecake, indulgently chocolatey and served with a delicious dry Irish stout-infusion and homemade marshmallow. It was a real fine-dining experience. From the incredible Pan-Asian creations in Pacific Rim, to regional barbecues at the Pool Grill and classic French fare at Chartreuse, there really is something for everyone on board.
Q. Did the service on board reflect the high standards Regent is known for?
A. The service on board was first-class, from the warm greeting during boarding (accompanied by a glass of champagne!), to the friendly and attentive service at dinner. Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure our meal was perfect, even creating a delicious custom mocktail for me!
Q. Regent is known for its all inclusive luxury – from shore excursions, fine dining, unlimited beverages and spa access. What was your impression of the value and quality of what’s included?
A. The quality is exceptional, with unforgettable food, indulgent fine wines, friendly and personalised service, as well as stunning spaces. From the ship’s plush pool deck and sumptuous spa, to the incredible performances in the Constellation Theatre, there is so much to do on board - and it’s all included! Even shore excursions are included in your fare, making a cruise on board Seven Seas Grandeur incredible value, with quality at its heart.
Q. Would you recommend to clients – and if so, why?
A. I’d definitely recommend cruising on Grandeur. It’s perfect for those seeking something truly special –think elegant suites, personalised service, and top-tier amenities. Whether you're relaxing in the spa, dining on world-class cuisine, or catching a show in the Constellation Theater, there's something for everyone.
