⚠️ WE SEEM TO HAVE CREATED A LITTLE PROBLEM…

Something has been happening far too often at Thornfield Farm this summer… ❤️

Groups of friends and families have been booking the ENTIRE SITE.

Yes… ALL 5 LUXURY PODS.

And then this happens…

The kids arrive, choose their bunk beds and suddenly bedtime becomes part of the adventure. 🛏️❤️

They make new little friendships, run between the pods and disappear off to play hide & seek in the kids’ trail.

The grown-ups finally get a chance to sit down, catch up and enjoy a glass of prosecco. 🥂

The BBQs are lit.
The firepits come out. 🔥
The laughter gets louder.
The evenings get longer.

And because all 5 pods have been booked, there are no strangers to worry about — just your own family and friends enjoying the whole site together.

Even better, everyone in your group can enjoy the private hot tub at Pod 1. 🛁

And somewhere between the bunk beds, BBQs, hot tub, kids running free and everyone sitting together at the end of the day…

⚠️OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THORNFIELD FARM⚠️

Following a somewhat misguided booking and subsequent overreaction, we feel it necessary to issue the following statement to the media… before this develops any further. 😂

Thornfield Farm Luxury Glamping is a luxury pod site nestled in the heart of the North Coast of Northern Ireland, just one mile from the famous Dark Hedges and a short drive from some of the most beautiful landscapes and tourist destinations our wee country has to offer.

We opened our doors six years ago and, thankfully, continue to go from strength to strength.

However, recent events have highlighted a matter of such importance that we feel we can remain silent no longer.

Our pods do, in fact, sleep four people.

Following a booking for four guests, concern was raised upon arrival when only two bunk beds could apparently be located.

Matters escalated.

Questions were asked.

A newly engaged couple faced the devastating prospect of beginning married life slightly earlier than anticipated… in bunk beds. 😭😂

Thankfully, before emergency accommodation was sought or a national appeal launched, we were able to confirm that the full-size double bed is cleverly concealed within the wall of the pod.

It simply pulls down.

Crisis averted.
Engagement saved.
Nobody had to take the top bunk. 😂

We would therefore like to reassure all future guests that when we advertise our pods as sleeping four, we haven’t simply counted the floor space and hoped for the best.

The hidden double bed is an intentional feature of the pod design — although, judging by recent events, perhaps slightly too well hidden.

We apologise for any unnecessary distress caused to newly engaged couples everywhere and can confirm that clearer instructions may now form part of our emergency response procedure. 😂
