Good morning everyone! ☀️

I’ve been a little quieter on here this week as I’ve been away in Leeds spending time with one of my absolute favourite suppliers… Jet2holidays. 💙✈️

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know just how much I love Jet2holidays. I’ve worked with them for years and there’s a reason I keep going back to them. I was so lucky to be invited to spend the day at their head office, Holiday House. It was a brilliant day filled with updates, learning, new ideas and lots of networking with the amazing Jet2 team and other travel industry friends. I honestly love days like this because it means I’m always learning and keeping up to date so I can give you the very best advice.

Then came the evening… and what a night! 🍛🥂 In true Yorkshire style we enjoyed a delicious curry, followed by an awards ceremony and plenty of laughs. It was so lovely catching up with industry friends old and new. These events are always a reminder of just how fantastic our travel community is… although I’m definitely still recovering! 😂

One thing I never take for granted is being able to build genuine relationships with the people behind one of the UK’s most loved holiday companies. Having access to their senior leadership team and hearing first hand what’s coming next is invaluable and it all helps me look after my lovely customers even better.

🌍 Happy National Travel Agent Day! ✈️

Today feels a little bit special.

Last month I celebrated 25 years in the travel industry… and if you’d told 16 year old me that I’d still be doing a job I absolutely love 25 years later, I don’t think I’d have believed you.

Over the years the industry has changed beyond recognition. We’ve gone from brochures the size of phone books and paper tickets, to apps, online bookings and AI.

But one thing has never changed…

People still want someone they can trust.

Someone who’ll take the time to understand what they’re looking for.
Someone who gets just as excited about planning their holiday as they do.
And someone who’s there if things don’t quite go to plan.

That’s why I still love what I do.

There is nothing better than receiving those holiday photos, hearing about surprise engagements, family adventures, bucket list trips and all those memories that started with a simple conversation.

So today is also a chance to say thank you.

To everyone who’s trusted me with your holidays, recommended me to friends and family, liked, shared or commented on my posts… you’ve helped me turn a passion into a business I genuinely love.

Here’s to 25 years in travel… and plenty more adventures still to come. ❤️✈️
