The children are back at school and work mode is back on 🙌

I’ve been a little quiet on here over the summer holidays, but I’m feeling refreshed after our time in Corfu and really looking forward to sharing more again. I hope everyone’s had a wonderful summer too!

I’m currently working on a few autumn sunshine holidays - thank you so much for all the lovely enquiries.

🇧🇧 28 YEARS LATER… I’M GOING BACK TO BARBADOS! 🇧🇧

These old photos are from my first visit in 1998, when I was 19. I returned again at around 21 - and I’ve now just booked to go back this October, but this time with my own family!

I managed to find us a really good deal for a stay at the gorgeous Sea Breeze Beach House on the south coast. Now the children are older, we want to get out, explore and experience the island and its Bajan culture together.

I’m excited to see what’s changed, revisit places I remember - especially Mullins Beach - and discover parts of Barbados I didn’t see before.

Oistins Friday Night Fish Fry is an absolute must, along with Carlisle Bay, Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary, Crystal Waters Beach Bar, St Lawrence Gap, Hunte’s Gardens and Harrison’s Cave.

How are your summer holidays going? ☀️

I’m currently juggling work and entertaining the kids, so we’re making the most of local adventures when we can.

Here’s a little Somerset recommendation…

I’d never even heard of Otterhead Lakes until my dad suggested it yesterday, and I can’t believe I’d never been before.

The kids loved climbing trees and exploring (and, for once, no complaints about the walk! 😂).

Lots of shade, beautiful lakes and streams, and perfect if you’ve got a dog that needs somewhere to cool off in this weather.

If you’re local and looking for a free day out this summer, I’d definitely recommend it.

☀️ It might be the school summer holidays, but behind the scenes it’s still all go!

Whilst many of my lovely clients are off making memories, I’ve been busy making sure everything is in place before they travel.

✈️ Checking clients in for their flights and securing seats together where possible.

🏨 Liaising with hotels to arrange warm welcomes, handwritten notes and those little extra touches for birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions.

🍫 Sending out my branded chocolates and final travel documents.

📱 Keeping an eye on flights and being on hand for any last-minute questions before departure.

🌍 This week, I’ve got people enjoying holidays in Portugal, Egypt and Turkey, with Ibiza next up!

Alongside that, I’ve also been helping families plan late summer escapes, October half-term holidays, Lakes & Mountains adventures, the Canary Islands, Turkey and even Caribbean winter sunshine.

I love taking care of all the little details behind the scenes, so all my clients need to focus on is getting excited for their holiday and making wonderful memories.
