🎉 Today marks 1 year since I started my training with The JLT Group. 🌏
At the time, I had no idea where this journey would take me.
What followed was a huge learning curve - supplier training, destination research, learning new systems, building a business from scratch, juggling family life, celebrating wins, dealing with disappointments, and constantly pushing myself outside my comfort zone.
As much as social media often shows the beautiful hotels, luxury resorts and exciting bookings, there is a huge amount that goes on behind the scenes. Hours of research, comparing options, understanding destinations, managing flight changes, navigating transfer logistics, and constantly learning so I can provide the very best service to my clients.
There have been plenty of lessons along the way, but despite the challenges, joining JLT was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
The support, training, suppliers, systems and community have been incredible, and over the last year I’ve built a business that I genuinely love.
Since properly launching last October, I’ve booked 29 holidays worth £121,000 and helped clients create memories through honeymoons, anniversaries, family holidays, city breaks and girls’ trips.
What I’m most proud of, though, isn’t the figures. It’s the trust people place in me when planning some of their most important memories, and the number of clients who have returned to book again or recommended me to friends and family.
