I’ve added the following info to my page for guests, to try give them info and offer some recommendations for off park too
***ADDITIONAL GUEST INFO***
Haven have overbooked on all of their parks this season, and as a result we are seeing many complaints about not being much choice for booking activities and tables etc. If you have booked to use our caravan, Please, don’t buy passes WITHOUT first checking if the activities you require are available. I’m seeing a lot of complaints about Haven selling passes to guests and then not being able to book anything, yet the cost of the passes isn’t cheap. Please note, we have nothing to do with haven activities or passes and can not influence or promise anything regarding this. Please find below some information to assist private guests:-
SWIMMING
Slots for swimming go live every Tuesday at 3 pm - As a private guest you need to book swimming at the creative activity studio- HOWEVER...
Berwick Swan Centre ❗️
This is the local sports centre in Berwick. We would advise going here for swimming if you are able to- it’s just been refurbished and is a fantastic facility.
Bookable in advance ahead of your arrival is advised

If you are struggling for activities, there is a lot to do off park. Here are a few things we would reccomend:-
>- Spittal Beach, located in tweedmouth. Fantastic beach, with amusement arcade, splash park, play park, ice cream kiosks.
>Cheswick / Goswick beach, located about 1 mile from the park, head for berwick and turn right at the Island view.
>Paxton house- great estate with playpark, overlooking the river tweed.
>the Maltings, Berwick, is an arts and entertainment venue that has a cinema too.
>Berwick Walls- a lovely walk all the way around the Elizabethan walls surrounding Berwick is highly recommended. Also a walk along the river, under the bridges to see the old castle.
> pot-a-doodle-do, located at scremerston, is a great place to visit with kids.
>holy Island (Lindisfarne island) is well worth a visit- Remember to check tide times for crossing!!!
>Bamburgh castle / Bamburgh beach- it’s a must!!!
> Alnwick garden is beautiful landscaped garden area, well worth a visit.
>Alnwick castle, where Harry Potter was filmed, is also a great fun day for the kids
>Seahouses, great for fish and chips, lovey seaside town with a relaxed atmosphere and characteristic harbour
>Billy’s farne island boat trips, bookable at Seahouses, sails from the harbour.
>Grace Darling museum, fantastic local fishing town museum. Located in Bamburgh
>Northumberland zoo, located at Felton, near Morpeth, with enough cuddly animals to keep the family happy 😀
Heatherslaw Light Railway / Ford Etal railway, a nice relaxing pass time for an afternoon on the steam railway, located about 4 miles from the park.
..and if you fancy a little drive, we would highly recommend East Links family park, about a 40 minute drive from Haggerston, located in Dunbar, where you will find animal enclosures, train rides, go karts, bouncy castles, and much more.
Also, if you are visiting on a weekend, keep an eye out for the home fixtures of Berwick Bandits speedway- a great way to pass an evening.
Bird of Prey and reptile centre, providing a chance to interact with our birds and small reptiles. Daily displays. Photography workshops,
