Cosy all year round, the cottage is only 15 minutes from the centre of Berwick upon Tweed with its charming medieval walls, and offers a variety of everyday shopping. There are a choice of beaches nearby notably Spittal and Coldingham and of course the glories of the Heritage Northumbrian Coastline are also within very easy driving distance - Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle and beach and the bustling seaside village of Seahouses. Only 1 hour’s drive from Edinburgh for an alternative day trip the cottage is in an ideal location for fishing, cycling, golf and the historical sites for which the Borders are famous for. We wish you could smell these peaches!!! 🍑

Our juicy, sweet peaches crop is something to behold this year and the smell from them in the Glasshouse is just incredible! We caught up with Kate, our Assistant Head Gardener busy harvesting them this morning.

Did you know there is often a chance to buy freshly harvested fresh fruit and veg grown right here in the Walled Garden from our fully stocked Plant Stand which is located just outside the Garden Ticket Kiosk.

Take home a little bit of Floors to enjoy, fresh from our garden to your table… ♥️
