❄️🏡 WINTER DRAIN DOWNS – BOOKINGS 🏡❄️

As the colder months approach, it’s time to get your holiday home at Haggerston Castle ready for winter! 💙

🌨️ WHY BOOK YOUR DRAIN DOWN?

A winter drain down helps protect your holiday home from freezing temperatures, reducing the risk of burst pipes, water damage and potentially costly repairs.

📅 IMPORTANT: WINTER CLOSURE DATES

Please remember that Friday 8th January will be the last night you can stay in your holiday home before the winter closure. You will then be welcome to stay again from Monday 1st March. 🏡❄️

Please make sure your holiday home is prepared for the winter period and your drain down is arranged in good time.

📱 BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT!

Drain down bookings are live on your Owners’ Hub. We recommend booking as soon as possible to secure your preferred date and enjoy peace of mind over the winter months.

👉 Visit https://owners.haven.com to book online.

🔧 USING YOUR OWN CONTRACTOR?

If you’re arranging your own drain down, please remember that all external contractors must be approved to work on the park.

Please contact the park team in advance to confirm your contractor’s details and let us know:

✅ The name of the contractor or company.
✅ The date they’ll be visiting the park.
✅ The arrangements they’ll be carrying out.

Please ensure your contractor has the necessary approval before arriving on the park. You must also select the relevant opt-out option on your Owners’ Hub to let us know you’re making alternative arrangements.

Our Experience team will be happy to guide you through the booking process and explain the available options. Please note that all drain down bookings must be completed online.

⚠️ IMPORTANT INSURANCE REMINDER

From 31 October, you must turn off your holiday home’s stopcock whenever you’re away from your property. Failure to do so could invalidate your insurance if damage occurs, so please make sure you follow this important requirement.

💙 DON’T LEAVE IT TOO LATE!

Get your winter drain down arranged, prepare your holiday home for the winter closure and enjoy peace of mind as the temperatures drop.

Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to welcoming you back from Monday 1st March! 💙🏡

🎃👻 Good afternoon, everyone! 🦇🕸️

I have some good news and some not-so-good news! 🎃

Some of our activities and events have been really popular and have reached full capacity, while others haven’t been quite as busy. This means I can extend a few activities and events for the rest of this week, but unfortunately, the Halloween Trick-or-Treat event is one I can’t extend, as I need time to prepare the maps and get everything organised. 🗺️🍬

At the moment, I have only 6 vans confirmed to welcome the little ones for trick-or-treating, and we currently have 90 children booked on! 👻🍭

Below is the list of people who have emailed me to confirm they’re happy to take part.

If you’d like to add your van to the list, please comment below. You have until tomorrow evening to let me know! 🎃

Also, if you know anyone else who might be happy to get involved, please spread the word and ask them to join in. The more vans we have, the more fun we can make it for the little ones! 🧡🕷️

🦇 Confirmed so far:

Emma B
Leeann N
Jim F
Victoria S
Lois S
Dot M

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for helping make these events special for everyone! 🧡🎃

Thank you,
Mikey 👻

🌙⏰ Good Evening Everyone! 😊👋

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow, Sunday 25th October, the clocks go BACK one hour at 2am! 🕑⬅️🕐

That means we get an extra hour in bed… if we’re lucky! 😂🛌😴 So, whether you spend it catching up on some much-needed sleep, enjoying a lazy morning with a cuppa ☕, or simply making the most of that extra hour of peace and quiet, enjoy every minute of it! 🤣🙌

Don’t forget to change any clocks that don’t update automatically, otherwise you might find yourself a little confused tomorrow morning! 😂⌚📱

So, get those cosy PJs on, snuggle up, and enjoy your extra hour of beauty sleep! 💤🧸❤️

Wishing you all a lovely evening and a relaxing Sunday! 🥰🍂

Remember… the clocks go BACK, so we all get an extra hour! 🎉😴⏰

🌟 Good morning, everyone! 🌟

I hope you’re all having a lovely morning! 😊

📢 A few updates regarding this weekend’s entertainment programme! 🎭🎉

Below is an updated Entertainment Guide, we have made the decision to close Spotlight for the weekend. However, don’t worry! 🎪✨ There is still plenty of fantastic entertainment and activities taking place throughout the main complex.

🌧️ Weather Update – Important Information 🌬️

As the wind and rain begin to pick up today, we have unfortunately had to make the difficult decision to cancel certain outdoor activities throughout the weekend. The safety and well-being of both our guests and our team members must always come first, and these decisions have not been taken lightly. 💙

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and really appreciate your patience, understanding, and support. 🙏

However, we have been working hard behind the scenes to make the best of the situation! 💪✨ We have done everything possible to introduce additional activities, increase capacity where we can, and expand some of the existing entertainment options throughout the weekend. Our aim is to ensure that, despite the unpredictable weather, there are still plenty of opportunities for everyone to enjoy themselves.

Unfortunately, the weather is something we cannot control, and some changes are unavoidable when conditions become unsafe. 🌦️

Thank you all for your continued support, flexibility, and understanding. Let’s keep the positive, and make the very best of the weekend! 🌟🙌💙

Thank you, everyone!
