Now a festival rather than just a flower show, the event attracts many artists and chefs to the various stages and eateries, enhancing your day out with entertainment and excellent food. Visitors can immerse themselves in the inspiration provided by this world of colour, creativity and ideas for your own garden, and shop at unique stalls for plants, flowers and boutique homewares. Explore thought-provoking gardens on topical themes, and enjoy the buzz of a great summer festival.

🚢 Beaulieu, Buckler's Hard & River Cruise 🌳

We arrive at Beaulieu to enjoy all its attractions - The Motor Museum, Palace House and Gardens, and the veteran bus.

With over 280 vehicles in its world famous collection, the National Motor Museum tells the story of motoring in Britain from humble beginnings to the present day. Displays include classic cars, historic sporting motors, modern rally cars, F1 racers, a rustic 1930’s country garage and Wheels – a sedate pod ride through motoring history.

Later in the afternoon we visit the picturesque hamlet of Buckler`s Hard, the Maritime Museum and display cottages before relaxing on a 30-minute return cruise along the scenic Beaulieu River.

🎉 What an incredible day at the Bognor Carnival! 🎉

We had a fantastic time taking part in this year’s out-of-this-world parade 👽. A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support and enjoy this amazing local event!

A special shoutout to our brilliant driver Gianni and his son - your costumes were a hit and truly captured the spirit of the carnival! 🚍

And of course, a big well done to Sarah and her team for pulling off yet another fantastic day. As a coach tour company, we know how much effort goes into planning dynamic events - and this one was 'stellar'!

In Loving Memory of Gerry 🕊️

We are deeply saddened to share the news that Gerry, one of our much-loved drivers at Woods Travel, has passed away.

Gerry joined the company in 2000 and spent 25 wonderful years with us. He was a true pleasure to be around always cheerful, and full of positivity. His warm presence and uplifting spirit touched the lives of so many, and he will be deeply missed by colleagues and customers alike.

We are incredibly grateful to his close family for allowing us to be a part of his funeral yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this trying time 💐

The countdown is on! Woods Travel is proud to once again be part of the Bognor Regis Carnival, and we’d love for you to join us for a fantastic day of fun and celebration.

We’ll be leading the parade, transporting the judges in one of our coaches, and you’ll spot us right at the front as the procession winds through town. At West Park, our friendly team will be there to chat, answer any questions, and hand out our latest brochures.

We visit some fabulous historic and scenic sights in County Durham, but the highlight of this tour is our visit to Kynren. Performed by a 1000-strong cast and crew on a 7½- acre outdoor stage, this multi-award-winning live action spectacular delights and dazzles the senses, with its mix of hand-to-hand combat, daring stunts, incredible horsemanship, stunning pyrotechnics and amazing special effects.

✍️ Day 3 of 6: After a leisurely breakfast, we make our way to Durham where we meet our guide for a tour of this splendid city. This is followed by some free time for your own exploration before returning to our hotel mid-afternoon. We have an early dinner before travelling to Bishop Auckland for the remarkable 90- minute show which is Kynren! Set in beautifully landscaped grounds, at the bottom of the escarpment where Aukland Palace sits, this outstanding show takes you through 2000 years of history – from Boudicca’s battles with the Romans to two world wars, via Vikings, Tudors and the fate of King Charles I - Kynren is as experience not to be missed!

Racing is the ‘Sport of Kings’ and you can experience the thrill of the races and a unique insight behind the scenes on this special break for lovers of horses and beautiful countryside alike.

📋 Itinerary...
‎‎‎‎
✍️ Day 2 of 3: This morning we head for Newmarket, home of horse racing. Our guide will take us first to The Gallops. Listen to the beat of the hooves as you watch the horses on their morning exercise on over 2500 acres of Jockey Club land. You’ll see the variety in gallops and learn lots of interesting facts from your knowledgeable guide. From here we return to the coach for our Racing Royalty Tour. Our guide will point out all the local studs and tell you more about their royal connections. Next stop is the National Stud - a fascinating and informative visit even for those not interested horse racing. We learn how a horse progresses from training field to racetrack. We also get up close and personal with the horses with a chance to see top stallions, mares and foals taking their first steps to becoming a racehorse. From here we are off to Newmarket Racecourse for Race Day where we have time to enjoy the exciting atmosphere as you cheer your favourite towards the winning post. During our visit we have included Afternoon Tea at the Races. Later, we return to the hotel - hopefully to celebrate a successful day
